Nice job Serg, for those people who don’t go shrimping, we still appreciate these videos of you sharing your fishing secrets. Keep on making videos. They’re all really interesting to watch 🤝🏻👍🏻
Thank you so much. I knew the ingredients from shrimping up in the San Juans the past couple of years but your method was a game changer. Went out today on our new boat with 6 friends and family that never went before and got our limits in no time. Everyone had so much fun! Thank you!!
I use herring that I caught, but I didn’t think about using my meat grinder. Thank you for that suggestion, Serg. Also, I saw a video in which the guy covers the bait canisters with masking tape. It keeps the bait from squirting through the holes and it is easily removed. You apply the masking tape before you fill the canister, obviously. I freeze all of my canisters prior to going out. Thanks again for the great video!
Great video, Do you mix pellets with oil on Thru night, let sit overnight, then on Friday afternoon, make the mixture, load bait holders and freeze 1/2 , frig the other 1/2 Then go shrimping sat am Is that the time frame, or when do you mix pellets with oil to sit Thanks for help Will try this weekend
I like McKay’s shrimp pots. They have two bait cages, when I make shrimp bait half of the cylinders I freeze and half leave in refrigerator overnight so they can harden up. Before I drop my cages in the water in one bait cage, place, one cylinder, frozen and in the second, the one that left overnight in refrigerator, When the shrimp pot drop on the bottom frozen takes a little bit longer to send out the sent the one in the second bait cage would spread out the scent right away. That’s how you catch lots of shrimp, after the first pool, I’ll leave frozen one in the bait cage and change the second bait cage with the fresh cylinder.

Sorry with the late response you want your pallets to sit in oil at least 12- Girl 24 hours then makes everything together.
Do you fill up extra bait barrels and swap them out when you pull your pots each time? Or do you send the pots back down with the original barrels?

Was the amount you made enough for four pots in a four hour shrimping window including refills as needed?
Yes, it was enough departing . Where are you going to be shrinking?
Brown area 9 not far away from ferry it was enough
Must smell really good!

@@hookedforanicemeal you bet Serg! I’ve never shrimped before, living in the SF Bay Area but, me and my boat may be moving to the Seattle area soon!
@@molassescricket6663 awesome, let me know when so I can point you in right direction where to shrimp.
@@hookedforanicemeal that’d be great! Will do as I’m subscribed to your channel, I’ll keep in touch.
Is that a 1 gallon bucket? Looks like my 2 gallon bucket? Cuz then the rest of the recipe would be halved haha trying to figure out now
Yes, it is one gallon bucket
Thank you!
I’ll be in 10 for opening day.
I’m not gonna be able to make it an opening day
