This matchless ghazal has so many words of Persian, which is an integral part of literary Urdu. I wonder how many among the audience understand those words like qafas, koo.e.yaar, soo.e.daar, saba, behr.e.khuda

I'm from Lahore, this is good attempt. A music maestro once said me that if you learn how to say "Udaas" the way Ustad Mehdi Hassan said then you will be a great singer because the whole soul of this Ghazal is in it. Second mistake is in lyrics, she said "Hamaray Ashq Teray Aqibat" while the correct wording is "Hamaray Ashq Teri Aqibat". No offense though it was good attempt. Love from Pakistan 🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰
