I remember being blown away when I first heard this on the cassette version of this album and then being disappointed when I got the cd version and discovered this was omitted as there wasn't room to include it. It was the best track on The 2 Tone Story. I bet Chrysalis have loads of great live rare versions of Special tracks that will never get released.
This is the best version of Stereotype - much livelier than the slow album version.

I am sooo happy that I have just found this here! I remember buying this album in the late 80's when it first came out and was blown away by this song. Still have the album in the loft somewhere!! By far the best Specials record EVER!!. Thank you for uploading. I AM SO HAPPY!!!
