It felt like EVERYTHING in this video went wrong 😫😫😫 Still, it was fun exploring this lock and it’s great to see a lock manufacturer make some real improvements! 💪🔐 Sorry about the couple of minutes of poor audio... someone forgot to plug the mic in... 🤫😳
I appreciate that you put that in, it shows even some of the best screw it up time to time! Also, I don't think I've experienced sheer horror and wanted to laugh so much at the same time!
Thanks for keeping it real, we need to see the good with the bad, it makes us feel better knowing we are not alone. Gorgeous lock, and a great pick! Thanks
Nice to see a lock maker producing a very decent lock. Nicely picked and welcome to the "Oh No, I just pulled out the plug gang". Haaaaaaaa Nice picking with a little merry dance included as you danced your way round those last 3 pins : )
More vids of euro cylinders pls. ow and you making this mistake makes me feel a lot better. Plus it’s very funny when it happen right emoji btws on point. 👊🏿
Hahahaha!! Sorry, but that was hilarious! It's nice that you're humble enough to admit your mistakes ...AND leave them in the video!! ...admittedly, I thought you were going to say that you used the control key by mistake! I bet that's happened more than once with padlocks.
Doesn't that 'anti-bump' key-pin contact potential bump-key bitting if the lock is held in the traditional (domestic) orientation.. ie pick-down rather than up ?
You said something about a binding pin. Could you do a video on pins, what special pins there are if any and what kind of pins/pin events to look out for.
As always great picking. Keep it up. Can you tell me how to defeat “ping pong” lock? I have a lock that keeps dropping pins. If you set pin 4 than pin2 drops down and if you set pin 2 than pin 4 drops. I can’t seem to figure it out. I have variated tension, and picking order but nothing has worked for me yet. Thanks for this video.
Difficult, the usual ways are using either more or less tension. You could try using TOK instead of BOK or vice versa or try. Tensioning in a different direction
Really nasty looking bitting on that key Nicely done on that lock Have you pulled the key out after removing the clip and pulled it apart by mistake - lots of pins everywhere
Never heard of that brand, is it more common over by you? You know, now that I've asked that question out loud, its pretty stupid. We don't have many euro cylinders over here. Just good old freedom cylinders!
You did cut the video after the funny moment when you removed the plug, cuz the cir-clip was taken out, and after that cut.. your mic sounded a little bit broken, idk why. Nice video anyway 🍺❤️
No worries. Essentially I was a dumba** and not only did I forget I took the circlip out, I forgot to plug my mic back in for a section of filming, do you got to hear my iPad mic for 2 min... I’d like to say I’ll learn from this experience, but history would say otherwise 😅😅😅
@@LockNoob it's kinda funny cuz.. 5-6 days ago I just did the same dumb thing, I perviously removed a c-clip from an old Rim cylinder that is WAY TOO HARD to pick (probably because of its age and worn, no security pins) to better fit in my small desk vice.. and pluged in the key and I completly forgot it has no c-clip and 1-2 driver pins felt down, and I lost one little spring.. 🤦🏻♂️ but it was good, I took a spring from another cylinder and all was good. Keep up the good content and I wish you to hit 100k as soon as possible !! Ps: i know you from LPL and I subscribed to your channel like 3-4 months ago, never regreted. Besides lock picking skills, your voice and accent is top notch, I love it :)

Other than diembowling it at first it seemed smooth.
I appreciate that you put that in, it shows even some of the best screw it up time to time! Also, I don't think I've experienced sheer horror and wanted to laugh so much at the same time!
I only wish this was an isolated incident!
No worries, just consider it as a really quick gutting. Plus bonus puzzle-solving. ;)
Thanks for keeping it real, we need to see the good with the bad, it makes us feel better knowing we are not alone. Gorgeous lock, and a great pick! Thanks
Thanks 😊🙏
The silence after pulling out the core and dropping all the pins in the beginning translates to ****! 😂 Man, that sucks!
Oh, it really did lol
Nice to see a lock maker producing a very decent lock. Nicely picked and welcome to the "Oh No, I just pulled out the plug gang".

Lol. Yeah pretty decent pick tbh!
Sounds like watching your first video 😂
Everyone has bad days I suppose, it makes you look more human.
Can we pretend I did on purpose to appear more relatable 😅😅😅

Thanks 😊🙏 more euros in their way!
Wicked wicked bitting! You handled it as I think we all knew you would, nicely done sir 👍👍
Thanks 😊🙏
Great Job. Enjoyed watching you get that one...
Thanks 😊🙏

Yes DEFINITELY done that!
OMG that bitting! Looks like my last hearing test.
Lol
Great video. Thanks, LN. It was exciting to see how the lock challenged you. But the winner is Lock Noob. 😁😁😁
Thanks 😊🙏
Seeing your lock vomit out its guts all over your desk made me chuckle because I've done exactly that myself.
The snap resistance is better than nothing but if the lock is fitted wrong and the wrong size it wont help alot.
True
I love that you didn't edit that incident out
Lol, I just had to show it. It did annoy me at the time tho 😅😅

It shouldn’t I don’t think

I have done this a long time ago, but I think it’s worth revisiting at some point!
that was a crunchy one Ash mate🇬🇧🤟😎😊👊👍
Sure was Leon!
Interesting pick. Good job!
Thanks 😊🙏
Do you think that by removing the C clip before picking caused the core to have excess play making it feel gritty ?
No, the c clip should make no difference unless it’s badly fitted
Sweet video Ash thanks i was wondering why these were such a pita to pick (thank friday its crunchy) 🤣
Now all I want it’s a crunchy!
I got myself one of those vices. It makes everything so much better..
Those pins falling gave me the sweats......😢
Those vices are great!
That lock just doesn't like you. Nasty biting, indeed! Excellent recovery and picking.
Thanks 😊🙏

@@LockNoob thanks a lot for the advice and the quick response. Have a nice weekend.

Have you pulled the key out after removing the clip and pulled it apart by mistake - lots of pins everywhere
Making a mess is my forte

It’s pretty common but in the U.K. only I think
