Lexie was honestly the saddest death to me. Everyone says George or Derek but she was the most bright, bubbly and down to earth person and she was so young and never got the chance to finish her story. Yeah it's weird. If u think about all the ppl she was friends personally when George died she remembers how stupid she was with him was probably what started his death scenes leading up to it. I remember his final episode the most. George hadn't check n all day, his phone went to voicemail and then at last minute it's realized who this John Doe was their missing friend. His face was so disfigured they barely could recognize him. Lexie tells Mark the truth finally and Julia was there, yet when Lexie dies, not only did it annoy me but I was mad at the writers for doing it. But ofc she went on to play that New York cop which only lasted a season and then did some other projects before she got on Supergirl which has almost now ended. Just like BlackLightning did and I was in Estes in this show. Why are all the networks deciding to end black shows. I was mad when Mixed ish was cancelled. I mean other black shows are getting canned due to BLM situation. I was mad when For Life was canned. Soany drama and comedy black shows ending which I've loved for years. It's real stupid.
George died younger, late twenties early thirties, lexie was well into her 30s. Probably her mid 30s to late 30s when she died. She wasn't too young compared to George.

I understood why she had to leave. Her family was going through a hard time with all 3 kids. I just wished they didn’t kill her. They could of left it open. She was a good actress too.
I wish there could've been another way than killing her too but lexie's death was chyler's decision as well as shonda's because she didn't want to have it open to be pulled back in due to personal reasons, we were very lucky to get her guest episode in this past season!
If it is about Lexie Grey, I need to watch. There's no other character, maybe Mark, that has a character development so big and wholesome like they do, at least for me. The video is beautifully edited, it made me cry, as it should, and thank you for adding the scenes from season 17. Awesome work!

She was so young, wonderful, had a beautiful destiny as a neurosurgeon and died on a plane crash which has like... 10% chances of happening? Poor Lexie, brought the sweetest side of her beloved sister, brought Mark to maturity. I totally hate the fact that she couldn't become neurosurgeon, couldn't see her sister winning a Harper Avery, couldn't meet the other two Meredith's kids and most important couldn't have a marvelous life with Mark.

plane crashes are rare, but all types of accidents can happen that can take your life in a second. watching the whole video building up to her death in the end made me so sad and frustrated over all that time Lexie stopped herself from confessing her feelings to Mark. She wasted so much time because she thought she had endless time. makes you want to confess your feelings to the person you like and to stop being so afraid. worse than death is a life unlived.
We never got to see Mark and Lexie have a relationship where they were happy for a while they always had something tear them apart. They never got married, no kids together, never got to do so much they could of :(

Lexie- Derek relationship was a whole other level, he could’ve been her person if she didn’t died. They were like big brother and little sister, or teacher and favorite student, they were so cute (in a non romantic way), and he tried to protect her, example, when he asked meredith to ask about her scars, or when he never wanted someone in merediths house, but he invited lexie (yes, mark basically told him to, but he didn’t said anything that means he didn’t wanted her there).
i hate how she only got minutes in the plane crash episode when she died and mark got a whole episode. she deserved a whole episode, she deserved so much more than a few scenes :(
It finally makes sense why he cleared her. Everyone else was talking around it or not talking about it. Lexie processed it, even to the minute details. She’s the only one willing to talk about her Trauma. She was so adult to be so young ❤️

My favorite Greys character besides Cristina....Lexy was tenacious, compassionate, and had so much charisma....never cried so much over a character death in my life....I'm glad we got closure though, ,that she's happy in her Afterlife.
She was the sole reason why I watched Grey's Anatomy and why I stopped watching. I started my Grey's Anatomy journey in Season 4 when she started hers, ended my journey with her. She's my best girl, deserves the world. She's such a pure and innocent baby.

A lot of people say Lexie was sweet but had no character development while I agree she needed more development but her being sweet made me love her even more because you don’t always have to have this toughness to you .Lexie was a pure soul she deserved better ❤️
When you did the black and white clips of all the moments Lexie and mark “wasted” not saying what they really wanted to say, fearing pain of heartbreak, fear of change. Don’t waste one minute of it this life.
Lexie is underrated as a character. The hospital becomes named after her and you would think the doctors would talk about her more. And whenever Lexie is mentioned in the show it infuriates me how they never call her Dr. Lexie Grey
Lexie was the best thing that happened on this show. She was pure, loving and kind. I wish she and Mark had left the Hospital to live their lives somewhere else and build a family.
Lexie, Mark and O'Malley. Three of the best characters in the show, for me. Of course, I also liked Derek, but Lexie/Mark death took me away from the series. Haven't watched an episode in years... It's good to know they revisited some characters recently, but to be fair, the show died for me when Lexie died, even though I kept watching until season 13.

I Kind of find it funny when mark was like:” you don’t get to make decisions like this on your own” , because Lexie wanted to give her dying father a part of her organ. But when little Sloan came into their life he made all theses big decisions without her. He expected her to be a person he can’t be. And don’t get me wrong I love the two of them together and I thing they belong together but that was so stupid of him. And she honestly doesn’t deserve to think she is the selfish one and the breakup is her fault. Because it’s as much ,if not even more marks fault.
I agree. I think there is a thing as caring for someone to much and I think that’s what mark did. He wanted to protect Lexie in every way possible even if it meant he was the one hurting her.
Lexie would have been perfect with Meredith and Derek's children. I know she would have loved Bailey and Ellis so much and she would have such a beautiful relationship with zola..can't believe we never got to see her growing up and building a life, taking part in the life of her friends and family.

When Lexi died i cried for 40 minutes, when derek died i cried for almost 90 minutes

We never got to see Mark and Lexie have a relationship where they were happy for a while they always had something tear them apart. They never got married, no kids together, never got to do so much they could of :(

I also hated Mer when she did that to Lexie, but you should also understand Mer's sitch. Lexie lived a perfect life, it's like rubbing it to her face. Lexie had nothing to do with it but she was clear that she doesn't want to meet her.

Lexie- Derek relationship was a whole other level, he could’ve been her person if she didn’t died. They were like big brother and little sister, or teacher and favorite student, they were so cute (in a non romantic way), and he tried to protect her, example, when he asked meredith to ask about her scars, or when he never wanted someone in merediths house, but he invited lexie (yes, mark basically told him to, but he didn’t said anything that means he didn’t wanted her there).

i hate how she only got minutes in the plane crash episode when she died and mark got a whole episode. she deserved a whole episode, she deserved so much more than a few scenes :(
The actress was going to do another show that is why she has less scenes..
It finally makes sense why he cleared her. Everyone else was talking around it or not talking about it. Lexie processed it, even to the minute details. She’s the only one willing to talk about her Trauma. She was so adult to be so young ❤️

My favorite Greys character besides Cristina....Lexy was tenacious, compassionate, and had so much charisma....never cried so much over a character death in my life....I'm glad we got closure though, ,that she's happy in her Afterlife.
She was the sole reason why I watched Grey's Anatomy and why I stopped watching. I started my Grey's Anatomy journey in Season 4 when she started hers, ended my journey with her. She's my best girl, deserves the world. She's such a pure and innocent baby.

I laugh because she’s mean 85% of the time to everyone except a very small group of people.

A lot of people say Lexie was sweet but had no character development while I agree she needed more development but her being sweet made me love her even more because you don’t always have to have this toughness to you .Lexie was a pure soul she deserved better ❤️

Lexie is underrated as a character. The hospital becomes named after her and you would think the doctors would talk about her more. And whenever Lexie is mentioned in the show it infuriates me how they never call her Dr. Lexie Grey

Lexie, Mark and O'Malley. Three of the best characters in the show, for me. Of course, I also liked Derek, but Lexie/Mark death took me away from the series. Haven't watched an episode in years... It's good to know they revisited some characters recently, but to be fair, the show died for me when Lexie died, even though I kept watching until season 13.

I think Lexie was the only character that I never hated. There was some point where I have hated every single character, but from watching this video and off the top of my head there was no point that I hated Lexie.

She was one of the best, if not the best character out of all. She was kind, intelligent, passionate, compassionate, pure, loving and had an extremely successful future waiting for her had she lived. Did I cry for the 1 hour and 42 mins? You bet I did. I miss her so much. Her & Mark will always own a piece of my heart.

I Kind of find it funny when mark was like:” you don’t get to make decisions like this on your own” , because Lexie wanted to give her dying father a part of her organ. But when little Sloan came into their life he made all theses big decisions without her. He expected her to be a person he can’t be. And don’t get me wrong I love the two of them together and I thing they belong together but that was so stupid of him. And she honestly doesn’t deserve to think she is the selfish one and the breakup is her fault. Because it’s as much ,if not even more marks fault.
I agree. I think there is a thing as caring for someone to much and I think that’s what mark did. He wanted to protect Lexie in every way possible even if it meant he was the one hurting her.
