@@mcflyguy8873 Ang Lee's movie was a solo take on the classic Hulk character. The Incredible Hulk (a separate reboot, but part of the MCU) starts in South America just as a simple *homage* to the aforementioned 2003 movie.

R.I.P To William Hunt 🙏 Prayers To His Family 🙏
I love the fact William Hurt still plays Ross in the new Marvel films.. as he is the only thing connecting this film to the MCU
In the first Avengers movie you can see a scene off The Incredible Hulk in Stark’s apartment.
Abomination is coming back now too in She-Hulk!
yeah, wish mark ruffalo was in this one, I might actually watch it
@@AquReese24 yes Mark Ruffalo is also in She-Hulk
No Ross is not the only thing connecting this film to the MCU. That news report from The Incredible Hulk film was also shown at the end of Iron Man 2 when Stark visited Nick Fury. And that news report was also shown in the The Avengers film in Stark's apartment. Tony is also himself connecting the MCU to this film by making a cameo in this film. Emil Blonsky was also mentioned in the one-shot The Consultant. Blonsky was also mentioned in Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. .
It's safe to say this was the moment comic books fans realized Marvel wasn't playing around with this shared movie universe theory. And even they couldn't have predicted something like Avengers: Endgame.
All props to Kevin Fiege. He probably had planned the entire Infinity Saga films loosely.

When I watched this as a kid, I thought that was just Robert Downey Jr. playing a different character. But I didn't know that was ironman
Makes sense. That’s understandable. I was 11 years old at that time. I always knew.
I also remember watching this when I was little(I saw the Incredible Hulk before iron man) and then rewatching it later on and realizing that’s iron man haha
Same, I mean Ironman did come out the same year, but still.. I didn’t really know who Robert Downey jr. was portraying either.. this scene very much fascinated me when I saw it for the first time as well.. it’s probably why I enjoyed the first avengers movie so much, but I still don’t like how they just gave the role to mark ruffalo.. I understand wanting to cast him tho, b/c he did fit well into the avengers universe n what not, but I still feel like Kevin Feige did Edward Norton dirty on that.. cheap move..
The same happens to me, except that I assumed RDJ is a new Villain.
When I saw the movie the first time, the first thing I noticed is Stark Industries logo in the blueprints for the Sonic Cannons, SHIELD logo shown when Banner contacts Samuel Sterns, and this scene.
I’ve always loved Ed Norton’s much darker take on Bruce Banner more than Mark’s more lovable approach . He really felt like a scientist with anger issues.
Nah, but whatever.
Norton would have fit more DC than Marvel with his "darker side". Ruffalo can be spot on comedic sometimes, I don't see Norton getting in the same way.
Honestly there both good but I agree I wish Edward Norton stayed the hulk
Mark can play that role too he did in avengers but mcu be aiming towards the kids so his evolution was trash
Marvel's first movies were definitely darker, both The Incredible Hulk and Iron Man (2008) were included dying civilians, and heroes killing their opponents. Then they added comedy elements and lighter fight scenes to please younger audience. At least some of the killing was back with Endgame.
Let's be honest, *this* is the real moment that changed cinema forever.
Big time....🙌🏿
RIP William Hurt. Miss the chance for an awesome Red Hulk.
I always loved how after Ross asked "Who's we?" Stark's facial expression spoke sheer volumes!
Mark Ruffalo also adds a humorous touch to Bruce Banner's character. Like I can't imagine Ed Norton saying "Ha Ha!! You guys are so screwed now."
But that’s the problem. Both banner and hulk are only ever there for just comedic relief. Both Whedon and the Russo’s has no clue about dealing with Hulk and botched his entire character. Also Banner is not really known to be intentionally funny. The “angry” not “hungry” scene in this film demonstrates it perfectly. For some reason the MCU just gave everyone RDJ’s sense of humor after Phase 2 and it doesn’t work. It’s kinda cringe.
SlasherPsych_2989_xXx exactly
@@Lite727 Actually it's Kevin Feige fault. Ed Norton wanted to have Hulk be a Dark movie
Brandon's EliteTV not rlly. An actor should have zero say in the creativity of a film. If he had stayed and not been so difficult I can bet you they would have gone in that direction. The recasting probably through everyone off.

In my opinion this was the best hulk movie ever still watching 2020
The best hulk
Agree, MCU should have made Hulk on the same level as Cap, Ironman, and Thor. Yet they nerfed him so bad
@Thor Odinson then Universal should have develope him outside The Avengers/MCU just like Sony owns Tom Holland's Spider-man, they have the right to do whatever they want with their characters.
I personally prefer 2003.....sure the CGI was bad at few spots but that version stayed to true to the comics and turned Hulk into an amazingly complex character
What about planet hulk?

Tony Stark is at his sharpest here, fashion-wise.
Well-trimmed but conservative goatee, white pocket square, black pinstripe suit, gorgeous burgundy necktie.
It's his best "business suit look" in the entire saga.
I would have liked to see him like this more often. It's how he usually dressed in the comics back in the day.
I also like the one in iron man at the end at the press conference where he announces “I am Iron Man” something about that yellow tie
@@Sgtturtle22 yup, he's also pretty classy in that one. It's a pity he started dressing like a creative maniac, with intentionally loose neckties and suits that are either too tight or too baggy.
His last classic fashion hurrah was in Civil War with the three-piece Tom Ford suit, but again it was a bit too badly put on purpose.
@@thestarkknightreturns is that the one when he first fights Bucky cause that 3 piece was 🔥
@@Sgtturtle22 Yeah that one, it was medium Grey with a burgundy tie. Really nice looking but it bugs me that the knot was asymmetrical, and he always looked like he slept in it!
Another misfire in my view was the navy blue suit from the end of Homecoming. The suit itself was a bit too big under the armpits, and he paired it with a garish purple patterned necktie - and again, too loosely tied -, and you could see so much of the shirt cuffs under the jacket sleeve that it made it look like the shirt was two sizes too large...
If you notice he start wearing more conservative outfits in the films especially infinity war and endgame
I love the subtle references to Captain America in this film. Like when they talked about the serum and how Banner turned into Hulk, the alternate opening with Cap in the ice. And this scene. It proves that Marvel always knew what they were doing from the beginning. Everything was planned.
The alternate opening scene is referenced in The Avengers.
