Enjoyed your honesty throughout the video. I just yesterday purchased the Mavic Air and am trying to absorb as many tutorials as possible before I take it outside on its maiden flight. Thanks for the tips.
Just subscribed, becoming 969th subscriber of your channel. This is to encourage you to come back to your channel and keep uploading new gadget review. so many years since you had channel, you have so few subscribers, this may be reflection to only 16 videos you have and last video you uploaded was more than year ago which doesn't appeal to people. Common man, show some respect to 969 followers, do something.
Mine doesn't have "Precisely record takeoff point". Is there something that I need to click to add this? Return to home lands within 10 ft. of the takeoff point. I'm a beginner and only flew it once but tomorrow is another day!
Is there a more compact drone than Mavic Air, either from DJI or other companies? Is there a more advanced version of this, which is equally compact and much superior in quality?
Thankyou for the helpful tips. Hopefully, one day I can afford a Mavic Air. Though with regards to proper terminology, I should point out that you would use the gimbal to 'tilt' up and down rather than 'pan.' Remember that a pan is for horizontal rotational movements. Keep up the great work!
I've just uploaded some raw footage to my channel but in some parts the left side of the screen has black lines/artefacts. Anyone have any ideas what cause this kind of thing? I'm using D-Cinelike
Hey, that's some pretty awesome footage! From what I can see in your video, there might be 2 things. The first is that in the top left corner of the video, the propeller blade seems to get in the clip. I think it's because you said there is harsh wind, and so the mavic needs to have a pretty steep forward pitch to fly upwind. You can see at 2:50, there are the propeller blades. At 2:57, when the drone changes tilt for a split second, the blades disappear. So I think this is your main problem. Second, I think the narrow rows in the fields are causing some artifacts in the video just because it's messing with the pixels of the actual screen! So I'd recommend flying at slower speeds (were you in Sport mode by chance in this video?) on a less windy day, and try in different scenery. LMK how that works!
Good job! I just got my Mavic AIR and can't wait to fly!

odd. i'm in a restricted zone according to the phone's screen (dji app) but i can take off just fine (near airports but in my yard).... very odd.
Thanks! Great video
DJI did a great job "Consumer Proofing" this product....
