When I was younger, I built almost 50 small boats- mostly sailboats- so I can appreciate your work. I also build airplanes (real, experimental aircraft) and I know how much happiness you get from doing things like this. I want you to know how happy it makes me to see you building your boats. There are many bad things in the world, but seeing you making this boat gives me real comfort and contentment. We have many Vietnamese here in Texas, and it makes me very happy to know them and to see the same strength of character in them as I see in you. So I am sending you much love from Texas and from a fellow boat builder!
I'm very grateful for your love and support, I will try harder to make better boats. Sending greetings from Vietnam to you and your friends, wish you always happiness and success. Thank you very much!
@@Nasatchannel Hello I really enjoy watching you work and see your gifted hands and mind making great things with very little ,especially the recycled material that you repurposed back to life.
I too was a marine welder and made alloy plate boats with my father and was a master of many trades until I lost my multi million dollar workshop in an unfortunate event and was forced to retire. Keep up the great work, you’re an impressive man with great skills,
Cheers Bro,👍🏼

Thank you so much!
@@Nasatchannel I hope you can build a hydrofoil soon
Now twin-turbo them!
He does a lot of refactoring of components into different craft.
While this may be an approach dictated by availability of funds, I really like it for its own sake.
If you're wondering "well, what if...." he'll probably have a video along shortly to answer that.
@@brunogomez3037 hahaha yeah ! why not.
How crazy is that! Never thought a 2x18hp Diesel powered boat would be so fast, great work! Love your engineering skills, cheers!
Вьетнам рулит!! Супер лодка! Аж самому захотелось такую сделать.
WOW!!!! JUST WOW! The level of engineering behind that entire project must've been a nightmare.
Thank you very much!

@@lloydisaacs415 And we are supposed to be a first world country.
We really like the way you build all of you own plumbing, steering, shaft tubes, rudders, etc. Very skilled.
Good work building your boat from scratch, fabricating almost every part used from base material. The speed you obtained is about what I would expect from the horsepower and engine RPM you have available. The twin diesels have a good sound to them.
I noticed you set up your propellers to be counter rotating. Nice design detail. It helps with overall performance and maneuverability.
Is this boat now complete, or are you going to make modifications to plumbing and wiring to clean up everything plus modify the propellers, rudders and struts to increase performance? I see a number of places where small changes can make notable improvements.
This boat turned out good.
Wow, wonderful design. I was surprised to see the entire deck after you fabricated it was only 65 kg. Quite light. Good work.
Thank you very much, I will try to do better, hope you support me!
Very impressive build! Looks like a mini-offshore racer, and it really gets up and goes on 36HP!
Thank you so much!
Going back home in two years. I would love to buy one of your boat. This is awesome stuff. You have such a creative mind. Keep the mind going so we could see more of your creations.
Parabéns, os seus projetos estão cada vez melhores
Silky smooth "skier" with diesel power, built from scratch in a backyard, with plywood and local hardware market supplies... that is heavenly levels of epic. I envy to your spirit.
Thank you so much!
Ya unreal brother!! I want one? How much to have you build me one and ship it to Illinois lol

This was an amazing and very skillful build! You built a twin hull, twin diesel vessel that makes very good use of those engines.😁
Thank you so much!
I was just going to say the exact same thing. Nice job. Actually that's amazing. You got skills.
I've been watching your videos for some time now and it's great to see your projects evolving into bigger and better boats. Every project has been bigger and more ambitious than the last. Does this mean we will get to see a V6/V8 go fast boat in the future?
Thank you very much, I will do it soon, hope you support and follow me.
Felicitaciones, gran trbajo, genial, maravilloso!
A lot of work went into this boat, it turned out amazing!

You are amazing. You had so many pieces to fabricate and work with each other in harmony. Best thing I've seen one person build ever. Lol, I like how the strait piped diesels roll coal out the rear of the transom. Good work thanks for making a video
Thank you very much!
So much fun, as for improvements, appears you nailed it.
Thank you so much!
No seats?
17:35 soak the heat wrap in a bucket of water before you wrap the exhaust, it will really help you get it nice and tight around the pipe. Great build :)
So impressive! Those twin diesel motors sound amazing up at RPM. Looks like a lot of fun.
I especially loved that your loyal dog got to go for a cruise.....that made me smile.
That is the coolest boat you built yet. 👍👍👍
Thank you so much!
You are bringing boating to those without much money. Teaching boat building skills like this is quite empowering. Thank you very much.
Thank you so much!
someone without much money could not afford to build this boat . your sitting on a board in a boat that would swamp in a slight swell and would have to wear a swim suit .that boat is very unsafe for pleasure use .
Hat off to you my friend! Good engineering and tenacity to build from scratch a working speed boat. Obviously you have lots of boat building skills to able to design, assemble, and synchronize 2 diesel engines for the speed boat. Although the pilot seat design probably the last thing on your mind😀
Impressionante! Parabéns!!! Saudações do Sul do Brasil!
Brilliant work. I can see hours that have gone into the build. It must have been very rewarding to test it in the water.
Thank you so much!
This guy is amazing, he is a one man boat factory! This would take me years to build!

The throttle linkage system you fabricated is really impressive.

Fantastic build! I hope to emulate it someday! This hull design should have little to no bow wake, and be very level in the water when it's on plane, roughly 12-15 knots ( I think 🤔) you could try adding hydrofoil planes to the rudders, or shift your CG forward
Yea, it's stern heavy.
Adding trim tabs would probably help. Edit: Maybe a single large tab on the transom, in between the two hulls. He could just use a turnbuckle to adjust it. Not like that boat would see much variation in load, so once it's set, it shouldn't need to be adjusted again.
You do great work, especially considering your resources. However, laminating fiberglass on metal can cause problems. As the metal expands and contracts due to temperature change, it'll cause veins in the glass that will allow water into your core material. You obviously have the ability to fabricate on the spot, maybe just weld exhaust pipes onto flanges and bolt them thru the hull with gaskets. Happy building!
Just so amazed with the skill in restoring old old engines and motors and then built a boat out of any materials lying around at home. Thanks for sharing your gift.
Thank you so much!

love the sound from Diesel engines cool and great project
Hello from Norway. Awesome build. I was so suprised how fast it goes. Did not expect this speed without turbos on the 570ccm diesel engines. They sounded much larger when you started them up with the DIY exhaust system. The weight and design of the boat must be optimal for this performance. Thank you for showing your building scills to us. Very good video.

Hello from Germany.
Better?
Are you joking?
This is a masterpiece.
It's incredable.
I love it.
Thank you for showing us.
Love it if you could include a parts list like the gearboxes and other.
He wont. Ether too much trouble or language barrier. As you see he replies to everyone with "Thank you so much!". For looks of it, these are maybe Chinese made 18hp double? cylinder diesel engines, but cant find the exact model, but there is plenty of diesel inboard engines if you go look your local trading sites etc for one or ask local boat guys what you need to marine one of these engines. For diesel you need gearbox that turns that raw torque into revs for the propeller, where as in gasoline engine you get horse power from revs, so do little research and ask around, you might find suitable setup just around the corner, if you plan on building something like this.
Giỏi quá, sáng tạo nếu có đầy đủ vật tư nguyên liệu cao cấp thì sẽ có những chiếc ca nô cao cấp ra đời với những bàn tay lành nghề của người thợ VN
