He'd been doing it since he was years old so by this point he had spent most of his life performing on stage

Just amazing. Love love Michael. Jackson 5 too. Anyway I don't care what anyone says Michael Jackson was the best entertainer ever. His stage presence is unparalleled. You can't take your eyes off of him. When you have a voice like that, can dance better than anyone, & that kind of stage presence what more could you ask for.

One of my first 45 records, that along with Donnie Osmond's "One Bad Apple." He was so adorable, I love their early music, you can see how comfortable he was on stage, he knew he belonged there.

I'm first! For the first time on any reactors video. I'm so glad you're diving more into the Jackson 5 so you get to see and hear what I grew up with! I was about 3 years when this song came out and when they appeared on American Bandstand in this video. They were so talented and it was so cool to see young people doing music instead of adults even though I'm 9 years younger than Michael. Their sister Janet (the youngest Jackson) is only a year older than me.

Yep, he sang with the feel of an old man and his dance movements were also that of a much older person. The older artists at Motown (Smokey Robinson for one) often referred to him as a midget because he performed like a short man onstage and not a child

I love how Marlon had his own dance style and how he also stood out! They all had individual swag! Man their cartoon was a highlight in my day as a kid! Shirley the 🐍. Michael is a supernova we get one..his brothers and family knew that...then the world found out. What drives me nuts is how folks forgot how the Jacksons revolutionized music from the 60s to 2000s! Like just because hid image changed..you can't take away the soul these guys, especially little Mike had !

The impact of the J5 back then was phenomenal! Not just variety TV show and Teen Magazines. They had a Saturday morning cartoon series and they were on the breakfast cereal called "Alpha Bits" with color pictures and a plastic 45 record of the song: ABC

Love your reaction! The Jackson 5 left everyone speechless. They're just that good! You should do a reaction for "Forever came today". The one where they're dressed in blue and silver/white. They look like they're gliding while they're dancing!

At age 10 I had my first job, the janitor of my Methodist church where I was a member. I was paid $15 a week, to dust everything and sweep and vacuum the sanctuary, clean the basement, kitchen, and two bathrooms. I carried trash and cleaned the stained glass windows. It was a smaller church, but I took great pride in doing that. Michael was very talented and gave his all to the world in a deeper way though. And he made way more money!!!

We used to call him "Little Michael Jackson." Also, Stevie Wonder. I think this is lip-synched, as it sounds exactly like the original recording. That happened often on shows....💖💖

Jermaine is a great singer, but when singing next to Michael, poor guy, his vocals are just not powerful enough to be next to his little brother. Michael just has so much projection.
