We keep finding bear scat on our property but cleared a bunch of trees lately; thanks to an awesome neighbor that just bought a backhoe. Our neighbors lost a few chickens the last couple months by a bear breaking into the coop. On trail cam; momma and juvenile.

Black bears have always run from our dogs, but idk if they're was a kill in the situation. Just a property near Canada. My neighbor's saw it(ran from her too). Maybe trail cam to be sure.

We have to be vigilant against black bears here. Nothing near as bad as grizzlies.
