Oh these two are so great😂😂😂😂i used to watch The Two Ronnies with my dad when i were 5years old😂😂😂😂im now 60years old and i absolutley love watching them two again here on youtube...they both were and still are the most funniest duo in comedy😆😆😂😂😂😆😆😂😂😂
The first three minutes. Physical comedy/slapstick, in real time, in a multi-camera set-up - with no dialogue - is incredibly difficult. These two make it look effortlessly easy.
So hilarious. You only need look at the two of them to start laughing, but then when they start prancing around...and the leapfrog bit...I died😂😂😂. Their talent, timing and energy was amazing. Best comedy duo ever!
Me too. And in my opinion it was unexpected because the other words said were realistically part of the sentence. Hope I make sense. The twit, the twit... the twittering. The bum, the bum... the bumble. Get lost, get lost... get lost among... Whereas the sentence didn't have sodoff... it had so doff.
And now Ronnie C has gone to the great stage in the sky.. No doubt they are both reminiscing and reworking the brilliant 'Four Candles'.. Sleep well Ronnie C and of course Ronnie B too :(
Not only the Two Ronnies, but Morecambe and Wise! Four all timegreat comedians, playing a double booking every night at the heaven palladium! God Bless!☺☺😊😊😊
That one lone laugh at 4:11 has always got me. It's quiet so you almost miss it but it always cracked me up that one person in the audience found that line hilarious.
Don't be so critical. They only bet the odds, and half actually are morons. Watch any "Jaywalking" sketch from the Leno Tonight Show. "In which country do you find the Great Wall of China?" "Probably most likely China." "In which country do you find the Panama Canal?" "China?"
Ah, the good old days when comedy meant being funny. When did these times go away? Now comedy means swearing and talking about sex and swearing some more.
You ever heard of an irish comedian called Dave Allen . He was an alternative comedian before alternative comedy was invented . Talked about all the things you described as being unfunny but with one difference . He was hilarious. he was an influence for many alternative comedy performers . His sketched can be a little samey but his monologues are brilliant .
I agree wholeheartedly. Todays comedians seem to rely on filth and swearing as they don't have the capacity to be funny. I am certainly not a prude or holier than thou and I can swear like a Swansea docker if I get mad enough! But there is a time and a place. I cannot help thinking that these modern comedians think they are amusing us by shock tactics. Nobody is shocked by swear words today and they are therefore unfunny and a little pathetic. Bring back more old shows like the 2 Ronnies and their contemporaries and let's have a good, clean belly laugh!!!!!!
Brilliant. Comedy genius from the Ronnies No complaints from the Morris Police yet, and that's how it should be. I'd love to see this brought back to life by a current Morris side.
M&W lost their mojo when they got greedy and initially lost their champion writer (although he did come back) but by then the audience had past them by and much became repetitive AND Eric was also getting sicker and couldn’t work as hard. TTR seemed to stay on top longer? Maybe because RB wrote a bit of his own stuff as well as using outside writers? And he knew when to retire on top.
Strange how there are no comments complaining about how racist this is as there are on the Short and Fat Minstrel Show sketch. There should at least be an avalanche of complaints from Morris dancers about how their culture is being demeaned. I suppose the professional complainers only have one topic to moan about.
The whiners are nowhere to be seen and thats a good thing!Perhaps they were too mesmerised by the sheer brilliance of these two comic legends to moan :)
Always loved how Ronnie C kicked the stick off stage.
Professional stage acting at its best... keep everyone safe.
Those little ditties they sang were always the highlight of their shows for me. Still after all these years LMAO!!!!
When it was a pleasure to watch Saturday night television.
Ronnie Barker was a rocket scientist at comedy.

Same here; I live in NY now and haven't seen these shows since I first watched them as a kid. Still the funniest ever :)

"Sod off, sod off, sod off , sod off, sod off your cap I pray." I died.

God bless the two Ronnies Absolutely brilliant. I can watch this and other sketches over and over. Reliving happy days.
The best TV-entertainment and humor-programs was made in the 70:s!
Brilliant, love the two Ronnie's so much better than the comedy that's churned out nowadays.
thats 'cause it aint comedy any more.
Not better- just different
Such laughs from this. What a pair the Two Ronnies were. Thank goodness for these videos!
So so funny. One of my all time favourite sketches of theirs.
Love this. I used to go and watch Morris dancing in London. Entertaining. The two Ronnies are amongst my favourite comedians.
I love Ronnie C's energy in this. He can't wait to dance...brilliant rhythm.
My Mum always used to say she loved the way he bounced along, lifting his knees up higher than anyone else LOL :)
No matter how many times I watch this, the song always makes me guffaw in a very unladylike manner! 😂😂😂
So-d off sod off sod off so-doff your cap....!!! Genius!
That one surprised me, didnt see it coming, hilarious!!!!

Python fans, note the fella in the glasses singing. That's Fred Tomlinson of the Fred Tomlinson singers. Spam anyone?
He also co-wrote the Lumberjack song

+Sally Ann Loveday Well said. Rest in Peace, two Ronnies
Not only the Two Ronnies, but Morecambe and Wise! Four all timegreat comedians, playing a double booking every night at the heaven palladium! God Bless!☺☺😊😊😊
The first time I saw this in the 1980s I nearly died laughing... absolutely brilliant
Why do morris dancers wear bells?
So they can annoy the blind as well. Just remembered that one.
A funny sketch. Today it would be "cultural appropriation" no doubt.
Did you hear about the morris dancer who fell off the bonnet?
That one lone laugh at 4:11 has always got me. It's quiet so you almost miss it but it always cracked me up that one person in the audience found that line hilarious.
Just fabulous!! Never tire watching The Two Ronnies!!
I've. Watched this sketch several times and it still makes me laugh.
I’m back again , just love this much and also back to say thank you and to so happily subscribe to your channel !
This is ridiculous! Best 2Rs sketch I've seen so far.
My favourite, made me join my local Country Dance troup, never saw any dancers of this cali-bre though
Remember when TV companies didn't regard everyone as a moron?
Don't be so critical. They only bet the odds, and half actually are morons. Watch any "Jaywalking" sketch from the Leno Tonight Show. "In which country do you find the Great Wall of China?" "Probably most likely China." "In which country do you find the Panama Canal?" "China?"
channel after channel of absolute dross
Priceless. Brilliant. Hilariously funny.
Great sketch! Very Benny Hill-esque! 😁😁😁😁😁👍👍👍👍👍
I love this one,it doesn't matter how often i see it ,I still laugh .

brilliant as always
And there always was a truly lovely girl somewhere.
Cherry on the cake, so to speak.
RIP Ronney Corbett
Quarterstaff practice to not scare the Normans. Golf did the same for Claymore practice. Now unsee it.

Brilliantly funny. Nice to see the full version.
Question. Does anyone know the name of the tunes in this routine?.
Sir Roger de Coverley
Is the lady the same one with the buck teeth in The Plumstead skit?
She appeared in several sketches in the Two Ronnies. Her name was April, but I'm not to sure of her surname.
@@martyj.w2875 Thank you so much. Her surname is Walker.
They kill me! 4:06
Is the Bassoon player the same one as in Ivor the Engine?
They don’t make them like this anymore. So funny and clever. God bless the tow Ronalds!!
LOL!
Such genius
Who is playing 'Arthur Clump's' sister? I would like to meet her.
April Walker. Appeared on all kinds of great British comedy shows.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The Two Ronnies were better than Morcambe and Wise in my opinion.
who cares, lets have them back all over a gain, oh, we can. thanks to uploads. I can enjoy them all, over and over.
👏
