So, in the reaction video for "A Nightmare on Elm Street", we find out that wet washcloths make Roman cringe. Now, we find out that he's grossed out by .. milk? That boy ain't right.
Crazy fact: James Cameron wanted OJ Simpson to play the TERMINATOR but changed his mind and said "he was too much of a nice guy to play the role of a ruthless killer." 😳
Lance Henriksen (from the Police Station) was another Terminator audition..Cameron promised he would make it up to him and later casted him as Bishop in Aliens. Also, the voice of the guy that ditched Sarah was Cameron and made it up to her by marrying Linda later on.
T2 is great. The FX still holds up and so does the action. Considering how much it cost at the time, it should. While working as an FX guy, Second Unit Director, on a couple of Roger Gorman low budget Science Fiction movies, Cameron honed his skills on making movies relatively cheap. When Cameron wrote and directed Terminator, it was still a relatively low budget production. When he did Terminator 2 - Judgment Day, it was the biggest budget movie ever made. This repeated with True Lies, then on Titanic, and finally, on Avatar, each movie having the biggest budget so far.
Yeah I'm looking forward to that one. T2 is the rare sequel that I feel surpasses the original. Aliens is another- both by James Cameron. The actor who plays Reese is also in Aliens and he definitely had a glow up lol..
I'm older than you. And that doesn't make me feel old, just feel happy I was born in the 80's and got to grow up to 90s music. Nothing will ever replace that. The soul is gone today bro.
Awww the nostalgia. The babies are watching all of the classics. Yes, I called y'all babies. The 80s were defining times that shaped pop culture to where it is now, Roman is always hating. lol
Hate to be alive in the 80's ROFLOLOL Spoken like a true millennial. Dude in red sweater...sure is something. The I'll be back scene is considered to be one of the greatest scenes, and dude calls it weak. He was scanning the cop's desk for weak points.
Bro, chill lol. It’s a 30+ year old movie. The scene was legendary back in the day, but it ain’t something crazy. Relax. I can tell ur age by u saying “rofl” my grandma says that😂😂
@@AvEnGeD7X238 nah they hate a bit too much at times bro. Anyone hating on I'll be back is just too cool for school. And who cares who says rofl? So he's older than you? Holy christ call the edge lord police
The first is still my fave. Just like the first Alien is my fave over Aliens. Though I love the first & first sequels. "I came across time for you Sarah I love you...I always have" is one of my fave lines. Come with me you want to live is in this one lol
Time Displacement Equipment, the subject must be a living organism (or must be surrounded by living tissue) in order to generate the bioelectric field needed for the TDE to operate. Nothing else can go through time, not even clothes.
Well actually Terminator childs play 2 . Loses arm .loses an arm . And legs .and legs . Takes place in a factory for the final for both. 2 people running for both .
‘come with me if you wanna live’ is the first thing kyle reese tells sarah connor in this movie, the I’ll be back line is more of a laugh line bc he immediately comes back w a truck
how would older general John Connor exist already if Reese had to go back first and knock up Johns mom?? so there HAD to be an alternate timeline to begin with: where John didnt exist and it was just Kyle in the future and then someone else sent him back to bang Sarah and then the new timeline could exist where John existed and grows up and sends Reese back to save/impregnate his mom. I think this was the point that guy on the left was trying to make but didn’t know how to verbalize it to glasses-guy on the right lol and that was best part of the review, the discussion at the end 👍👍🔥🔥
I’ve always looked at it as Reese coming back and getting Sarah pregnant just creates a new timeline. The John that sent him back is not the same John we see in T2. They already won in that future anyway.
If I remember correctly they weren’t originally planning to make multiple Terminator movies so they weren’t so worried about the time travel logic. Also the time travel logic gets pretty screwy throughout the series. I do have a theory that can explain how Kyle dies but yet he’s alive in the future to be sent back to the past. Thinking about the back to the future series, one of the key points that doc brown teaches Marty is that if you screw up some thing that was supposed to happen in the past, it creates a whole new alternate timeline that can either be really really good for you or really really bad for you because you’ve change the order of events and this fact is actually true one decision or one event can affect multiple people and multiple decisions and events in the future. For example in the first back to the future, Marty screw things up by getting saved by his mother when her father hit him with the car instead of George McFly his father getting hit by the car so then he has to spend the movie trying to find a way to reconnect them so that way they will go to the dance and fall in love and have children and ultimately he does that and not only does he do that but George faces the bully biff. When Marty goes back to 1985 the future is a whole lot brighter because George was able to live a successful happy life. My theory for Terminator is that Kyle was not the original father of John but because Kyle and Sarah hooked up and then he died and she knew that he was the father, that’s why she instructed John through her recordings to make sure to send him back so that way there isn’t a time travel paradox or something that destroys the universe.
Yeah that's the best explanation for it. Of course time travel is fiction and you can come up with rules on the spot, but in the first original timeline Kyle can't be the dad as he's younger than John. Then he time travels and creates this loop where he's the dad. I wonder what the original timeline for Sarah is, if the moviemakers even thought about it (or just didn't bother much because they weren't expecting to make sequels). Kyle says, about volunteering for the mission, that it was a chance to meet the legend, Sarah Connor. Kinda implies she could be dead in 2029. She'd be at least in her 60s by then. He also says she was legendary because she taught John how to fight even before the war, when they were in hidding - kind of implying they knew what was going to happen, tho that would be a plothole against this theory. I guess it could also mean (but highly unlikely) some people saw it coming and prepared, not necessarily meaning that she knew it from Kyle in advance (original timeline Sarah never met Kyle/timetravel Kyle)
Sometimes dialogue isn’t necessary the action tells you more about the characters. I think maybe because I watch a lot of Korean stuff where non verbal cues are emphasized so for me this is really good.
I was super late to this one but always happy to end the night in a high note. You guys should watch the jeepers creepers movies LOL I would LOVE to see Roman react to those
Arnold Schwarzenegger is very intelligent, after he moved to America he started a brick laying company while attending college and got his MBA, he then used his brick laying company as extra training for bodybuilding competitions becoming a self made millionaire before he was 28, then he became an actor. Finally he used his business knowledge and fame to become governor of California.
My childhood movies!🧡🧡🧡 Can’t wait to see Terminator 2 reaction! You should watch/rewatch Alien movies too, if you like, of course. Aliens(the second Alien movie) was written and directed by James Cameron, who also directed and co-wrote the Terminator movies. Same cool vibes. The first Alien movie was directed by Ridley Scott.(sorry, being a bit nerdy😂)
Why would there be dialog in a car chase scene from someone like Reese who is a proficient tactical solider. A solider who's trained to be calm under pressure and does more fighting and less talking. He's not Jim Hopper from Stranger Things screaming a Joyce to drive while they're being shot at. You guys got to look at films from a logical point of view.
Did your boy really just hate on 80s music when you're living in maybe the worst generation of music ever? Plus who wouldn't want to grow up in the 80s? Hmmm. You were becoming my favorite reactor, but your boy is bugging. As long as he doesn't hate on the 90s, he gets a pass for now
