  • When using this product it is important to know that the Pitch Hopper is ONLY permitted on asphalt shingles and not other surfaces. Not plywood, not felt, not ice and water shield, not metal roofing, etc. ONLY USE WHEN ON TOP OF DRY ASPHALT SHINGLES AND DO NOT USE ON ROOF SLOPES GREATER THAN 12/12. This product is not to be used in place of your safety equipment! It is a safety aid, but it is not a piece of safety equipment! Wear your ropes and harnesses, and always put your toe boards down to ensure your safety. By using the Promo Code " Veteran " at checkout you will save 5% off of your ENTIRE order, regardless if you buy 1 for yourself or 10 for your crew. I personally recommend 2 per roofer as these Pitch Hoppers compliment each other very well. One to stand on, and another to hold your shingles is the perfect scenario for speed and comfort. I demonstrate in this video. Please be sure of exactly how many you really think you need before buying because I can only save you 5% this ONE TIME. If you go back to buy more, even if the promo is still running, you won't get the discount again because this is a one-time-per-customer 5%-Discount-limit. And I am POSITIVE you will want more than one Pitch Hopper. Don't forget to share this video with your fellow roofers, employees and employers! Link below to view products! Personally, I will be getting some of the 32" yellow ones next.
    I challenge all you roofers who support the channel to share this video with anybody you know that can benefit from the product and if you have a boss, do your best to convince him to buy a few for everybody! Pitch Hopper covers shipping when you spend 350$ or more. Make sure you guys use the Promo Code "Veteran" at check out. Caps matter. That's Veteran with a capital V

    Too keep it simple, since I can only grasp so much about repairs and construction (I'm not a tools man, really), what basic tools do roofers use, besides hammers? It's for a picture I'm working on, with newly built houses.

    • @Eger118877
      @Eger118877 2 года назад

      Pneumatic roofing nailer and a utility knife with a straight or hook blade. That's basically it. That's why Zach always says not to carry a tool belt. If you have a good nail gun, you shouldn't even need a hammer.

    • @jakebastian6726
      @jakebastian6726 2 года назад

      @@Eger118877 I've decided one guy will drill a house's wall (or, more specifically, the corner from the outside), another guy will hammer the roof, and the latter's partner, up there with him, will have some other tool. Just have to decide on that one. Thoughts? Maybe it would "work together" or correspond to the hammerer's tool, since they're partners? Also, I'm gonna have the driller hold something in his other hand, for appearance. What do you recommend?

    OMG Zach!!! See that's why I have been asking for a video of a steep roof, Indiana has all walkable ranch style homes! That's not how you do this! First thing, harness is for new laborers that you don't want to fall! Or for looking safe on a busy road. They only cause chance for accident, stepping on them and getting tangled up in the gun hose! You need a cushion to sit on or stand on if shingles are slippery!, Most 10-12 pitches I can walk,I keep my shingles on my feet and I stand up like you. Also try using the clear plastic 1/4 inch tubing for your gun hose!! Isn't super light and a game changer! Stop using garden hoses! on 12/12s and 10/12s i will do that often but typically i don't see the need for it while roofing. gun is always in my hand, knife is in my pocket, my bostich shoots good nails so i rarely need a hammer...and by getting coil nails i get a decent stretch on the back anyway lol
