Regional Transit Service 1992 TMC RTS-06

Me and my friends rode 1327 on a private ride. This bus is a Ex- LACMTA 1327, and these RTS's retired in 2008-2009. My good friend, Scott owns this RTS and he has a movie company called "Regional Transit Service" and this bus is one of his fleet. 1327 used to be a Division 6 bus, then transferred to Division 10. 1327 is one of the RTS's that was repainted to Metro Local. 1327 used to be fueled by Methanol, then refueled to Ethanol. These used to be also Southern California Rapid Transit District (SCRTD) bus, but had the same numbers. 1327 is operated by Regional Transit Service (RTS).

I drove RTS buses when I was a rookie they were monsters I miss them

I wish I had visited America often enough to ride on these buses. I bet it would've felt as good as riding on one of the old Transport Board buses down here in Barbados. I used to see these buses on American movies and shows back in the 90s and 2000s. I could see how popular they were in the U.S. Those RTS buses must have been some serious workhorses. Shame to hear that many of them are now going to scrap and they're no longer in production.

It’s like it could be put right back in service with the rest of the fleet! Perfect paint scheme match! I wonder if that paint was redone, looks fresh.

IT's good at the Beginning when the Past meets the Present buses i felt that the XN40's were the modern era RTS

1327 was the only bus left with the original paintwork.

It was actually a Division 9 bus, according to the old MTA 76 schedule.

It got into a accident on purpose, for a T.V show shoot. I believe it's in this show called 9-11.
