thank you for this video. I only knew her hits (ie Forget me nots, Haven't you heard, Remind me) this song has plenty of groove too. Love the keyboard solo.

Never seen this before .... brilliant song from a brilliant album ("Posh") - the extended version shows how innovative her soloing really is .... she is such a talent!

Top Ten R&B hits, including "Haven't You Heard," "Forget Me Nots," "Feels So Real," "Watch Out," "You Remind Me," and "Never Gonna Give You Up" from her first five albums (Patrice, Pizzazz, Posh, Straight From the Heart, and Now). Rushen also performed her single I Need Your Love on the hit show Soul Train in 1981. She also penned the opening theme for The Steve Harvey Show

Alicia Keys is lucky her fan base is too young to remember this. Patrice was the real deal back then; she had the tunes, the looks AND the chops to back it all up, unlike said pop singers who pose with instruments these days :0

VH1 wasn't around until 1985, but MTV was around in 1981. They DEFINITELY sucked for not playing this!

You forgot to mention that she is very close to being a "knockoff" of Irene Cara. Yeah Alicia fans need to check her out on here too.
