There are some youtube videos who expresses of how uncomfortable they are about ZZZ when they see characters like Lucy and Piper designs are being sexualized. Some of them even hinted that "cannot separated fiction and reality" or "It's just art and a game" or even "it's a cultural difference" are not excuses to sexualize children. Edit: I do agree that there should be other ways for the characters to represent their faction's theme. But that's is Mihoyo/Hoyoverse decision and reponsibility of the backlash they receive from consumers. There are some youtube videos who expresses of how uncomfortable they are about ZZZ when they see characters like Lucy and Piper designs are being sexualized. Some of them even hinted that "cannot separated fiction and reality" or "It's just art and a game" or even "it's a cultural difference" are not excuses to sexualize children.
Edit: I do agree that there should be other ways for the characters to represent their faction's theme. But that's is Mihoyo/Hoyoverse decision and reponsibility of the backlash they receive from consumers.
If they cause harm to children, then it is literally bad and disgusting, if they are not, then they are not. Its just that some of these people letting themselves get harmed mentally on the products they and/or want to consumed from games to animation and illustration just to raised morality and virtue, but that's just how I see it and if I'm wrong, I accept that I'm wrong.

1.I personally think banning nsfw of minor characters in their game is a right thing to do but really dont see the problem in the Piper artwork? Shes wearing her usual outfit and is yawning plus the artist didnt zoom in on her parts meanwhile in the game character menu they show the same body parts that they accused this person “zoomed in” on??
2.Correction on the 6:22 part of the video: The minor characters (Corin, Piper, Lucy, Soukaku, Koleda and Nekomata) unlike adult characters (Grace, Lycaon, soilder 11,…)arent actually naked in their Mind Cinema six like in HSR. Some of them have parts of their outfits removed (Lucy and Soukaku have their jackets off, Piper has her sleve things removed and Nekomata has her sleves and stocking removed+she wears a croptop) for Corin she wears a sleeping gown(?) and Koleda she has a scarf wrapped around her. Additionally, similarly to HSR, they didn’t make the character Cinema Mind 6 naked mainly for fanservice, it meant to show the purity of characters
The real problem doesnt come from people drawing an already existing child characters. The problem is the way the game has introduced and ilustrate those characters.
The drawings are the consequences of a game sexualizing child characters.
To the people who keep saying things "fictional characters are not real", you are all strawmanning the argument, which is, whether done in real life or in depictions, sexualisation of kids is wrong. "Art" done to sexualise kids normalises the activity and that is just as wrong.
If you still disagree, then it shouldn't be a problem if all the characters are white and straight.
ZZZ has way too many underaged or looking underaged characters that it’s a bit uncomfortable. Pair that up with the fact they chose to lean into the fan service heavily (especially with Mindscape) is a bad combo. Piper and Lucy look like kids, it doesn’t matter if they end up turning to be canonically a million years old, they look like kids. Ellen literally is shown and depicted as a highschooler, she literally wears her school uniform AND talks to her friends from the same highschool.
I have no issue with Piper and Lucy’s outfits they can be considered fashionable (although questionable on why mihoyo would chose to make them revealing) but mindscape removing their clothes AND ellen’s too, making them half naked? You’re just asking for weird pedos to hop onto your game along with creeps with school girl fetishes with Ellen.
