KSI was of course the king that could transition into anything but apart from that we only really had Tipindell with the skits, The Hodgetwins with gym content and the rest of us were gamers or reaction channels. Corey, Imdontai, Flight and Tyrone Magnus just to name a few. DDG came along and shown us that you could really make a bag off of showcasing our culture in daily vlogs. Other than RDC and All Def Digital no one was really roastin like that on the platform until DDG and the "LA Squad" came along. Shout out RDC and ADD but at that time RDC didn't get the respect they deserved and ADD is more of a company so it was still hard to relate. DDG was just filming his daily life kickin it with his niggas, and he really made RACKS off of doing just that. In all of these videos he somehow managed to make all of his friends feel like characters in a TV show. And if DDG was Batman, McQueen was undoubtabley Robin. 95% of DDG's videos during that period wouldn't be as entertaining as they are without a guy like Mcqueen and vice versa. These two really paved the way for so many of the black vloggers that you see today. We all tried getting multiple women in our videos, creating fake relationships, distracks, freestyles and roast sessions to post on RUclips daily. But none of us will ever influence a generation like these two did. Legends forever...
