I grew up playing guitar and got a drum kit about a year ago. I am complete garbage on the drums though, I knew it wouldn’t be easy but it’s a lot of fun to practice.
I've been playing drums for 20 years going, I'm just learning bass and find it difficult to play at higher speeds, it's only been 4 days. Getting better at not looking at my plucking and looking only at the frets sometimes, I feel it's getting better day by day
whatever he is using to record these drums, they sound absolutely beautiful. The cymbals are so clear and clean, and the toms and snare have that perfect low end balance. Really well done and excellent playing as well. Good job sir

songs like this you just go with the flow, even on guitar i dont follow it to a T. great thing about music is you dont have to sound perfect to have fun with it

You seem to be making sweet, gentle love with your drums while Bill seemed always to be having angry sex with his, specially on this song. do you know what i mean? but dude, your cover is fantastic, its just that i was looking for the "umph!"

I absolutely love the way you do this song! I try to copy your chops and I’m getting close. I also grabbed a bunch of the Zultan Q Series cymbals. They took the place as my primary crash cymbals and my 18” Zildjians are my accents now. Incredible cymbals! You were right, don’t hit em too hard. Replaced both the 18” and 19” within a year and a half. But for the price of them, it wasn’t a big deal. Thanks for the inspiration!!! - Ronnie
