It sounds like a Boy Harsher collab, i cannot believe she produced the whole album. Allie X is one of the most interesting and talented artists from the actual alternative scene, this music video and the whole new album confirm it.
I love Boy Harsher. She produced it all by herself, she is an unbelievable talent and artist.

Of the decade for me so far... And I've only heard it a couple times now... So far there's only been a handful of electro/synth albums of the caliber that sound this cohesive and singular much less from someone DIY'ing most of it!

CollXtion I is still one of my favourite album. It's such a different sound though
I’d almost say this album is Allie’s most philosophical piece of work yet. I’ve found so many existential themes in it, ruminating on the purpose of artists, of beauty, identity… it not only slaps but is so incredibly thoughtful and raw. As a longtime X I’m just sooo blown away, bravo Allie!!

Allie X it’s one of the few artists that I feel do art for the sake of doing it, she doesn’t follow a pattern or “Era rollout” She seems so legit and passionate about what she do and I love her for that, I needed this album
and yet she still does their own "Eras", each album is a different vibe with a different concept behind it

@@goddessoflove7204 I feel like GWNF is the "perfect" (perfection doesn´t really exist, right?) culmination of everything she did in the previous works, but more specifically it´s like she picked the authentic 80´s atmosphere from Super Sunset and completed it with the deep and dark introspective soul of Cape God, and it became this post-punk synthpop jewel that is Girl With No Face...I´m still in need of listening to this album more, but it´s definitely right beside Cape God as my favourite Allie X´s album

The instincts you have… the variance in where your eyes are fixed have such an impact. The change from looking “dazed” and “daydreamy” while looking out to looking straight into the camera creates such a brutal focus. Idk how to explain it, but I love these choices
