Hello, can you tell me, is Latent Class Analysis (LCA) the same as Latent Class Cluster Analysis (LCCA) ? And how about package both, they same or not for using R with poLCA ?
Dear Colleague, first of all, thank you very much for your video! I have a question: is it possible to compute latent class analysis with poLCA with psychology scales which are rated from 1 to 7 instead of 0 to 1 like in your example? Thank you very much!!!
Yes, you can do so. Yet, it is always preferrable that you use Latent Profile Analysis (LPA) [ruclips.net/video/17JRfEtte58/видео.html] since you have continuous scale. LCA mainly works with dichotomous data.
very nice and good video, helps me a lot as i', totally new to the topic. Just one Question, when the variables of facebook are 0 or 1, what do the 1 and 2 in the excel sheet tell me?
CORRECTION:
install.packages("poLCA")
Thanks for a detailed and crisp work.
CORRECTION: the package to be installed should be "poLCA" not LCA as in the video. Sorry for this.
Thanks a lot^^ it' s a very helpful information for me^^
instead of just 3 variables (read, web, facebook) I have 78 - is there a way to set up models with cbind for this?
PLease anything or LCMM package?will appreciate it a lot
you install "LCA" package but call in "poLCA" what's the relation between these two?

is there any video on latent class regression using poLCA
can you please share

Sr, the data was coded as 1 and 2 not 0 and 1 as shown in the slide.
How can I get the entropy please?
data please?
How may I get your data?
