Seems like a good reimplementation for getting more players into the game. At first impression, like the simultaneous card play, the actual cards, and the skyscrapers.
What if the iron worker card is used and he can't build from two places? Meaning he can only build in one place after moving because the other squares are blocked or has a player in them etc.
This looks epic!! Loved the Original but without the god powers, the powers were just too much the initiative order and simultaneous card play is a clear winner to me
You actually got an important rule wrong in the first game: once you have a single card left, everyone goes back to five cards again. This way there is always a choice between at least two cards and you are not forced to play the only one you have left.
@@DoppelgangerF02 Yes, and it also adds another strategic element. Keeping one card to bring along with you adds the concept of 'win card' to play at the right moment.
Santorini itself I didn't really like ... it's fine? But I don't like the fact some god powers are a bit overpowered. I really like the lookof this game and the changes look interesting, probably not an "own" though :/
looks like unnecessary complication of a perfect design, also the theme doesn't make sense. Santorini is an abstract with a light theme - builders constructing houses on their island - but here why a subway operator would build a skyscraper? Why does the statue of liberty move?
Ends on a real cliff hanger
OMG a new Santorini!? A new version of my favorite game of all times?! Gonna check this :O

Wanted to see the end
Who won the second game?

Mike could have stopped Roy from winning by moving his other character and building in the only spot Roy could put a skyscraper
Well dang it.....not I’m spoiled cause your comment was at the top lol (no hate just joking around)
I thought skyscrapers can be placed anywhere, unlike normal builds.
So that was fun...how did it end?
Who are you, Phil Collins?
New York! Santorini! Dice Tower!
Looks good, thank you for the giveaway
So with the subway operator does it move through sky scrapers or buildings that you can not move on since it is to high?

That board needs to be ironed before being shipped, look how bent that is. 😱

Characters look like actual New Yorkers. Wow. Miracles do exist.
That board and cards look warped. ...

As with any deck-draw games, ie King of Tokyo etc... just house rules the deck & build without some cards.

Even though Santorini is my 2nd favorite game, I have zero interest in getting this
Looks boring
@thedicetower #thedicetower who won the second game?
