I watch out for people who walk and appear too confident in themselves as they are more likely to be a narcissist, bossy, rude or entitled. I often bow my head down after smiling at someone I walk past on the street as I sign that I am not above them. For me it's a sign of love for my fellow human. Show people the love and respect they crave and they drop their act, it's then you see true beauty.

We’re all narcissist in the first place that’s just our nature but some people are just high on the spectrum to the point of diagnosing it, there’s 9 types btw The one your talking is a Classic type while some people can do like your doing and still be a narcissist (specially those vulnerable types). Nyarah Yes, We all care for our own interests I don't deny that. But I can explain the concept through Faith. I believe in the Christian virtue to love others as yourself, one way to show that is through humility rather than pride. It's not to say that the way I walk always means a person is loving or humble, just that I do it out of love and humility. When you know who you are as a child of God no matter how poorly a person treats you (or what they think of you) it just doesn't matter because your love for God is so great that other peoples opinions of you don't amount to anything. There is peace in humility that comes from God that I don't believe the world can give. When we feed our selfish wants and needs we're always looking for the next new way to gratify ourselves and we never really find peace. My belief that God knows all peoples hearts and that nothing is hidden from him helps me to stay humble. Like you mentioned no one including myself is free of sinful pride so I know I'm not above anyone, that's why the world needed Jesus! So it's not about degrading myself God didn't say love others above yourself but as yourself. I hope this is helpful to explain why I do this. But of course it's true that not everyone who acts a certain way has good intentions. That's one of the reasons why God is so amazing, cause I don't need to worry about anyone else's intentions just mine. He will bring it all to account.

I think it’s definitely a compliment. I have been told I have a “walk” since middle school. Never understood what people meant because I obviously can’t see myself walk, lol. Fast forward to now being married, my husband makes comments about me swinging my hips when I walk. I was like ???? lol. I finally got him to record me walking from behind, and I was like dang!!! I walk like that?!? Hahaha Not intentional at all. I’d imagine you probably do something similar without trying. 😊

I can't believe you've turned something so simple and positive into something negative. Go search for Seniors walks somewhere else or you could, I don't know, ask politely for such a video. Also, many other people have mobility issues and those issues vary drastically. What is she to do? Cover every type of human being walk (or other method) on the planet???
