I always laugh when I see the robotic mowers mowing tall grass. Everyone seems to want to do this with their robotic mower but my understanding is they are for grooming your lawn. If your lawn is this high, you should mow it with a regular mower and then use the robotic mower to maintain it. That being said, this video shows the Tron doing an excellent job not leaving any clumps of grass clippings!
On kickstarter, about a week ago, you said that you removed the display panel, but in this video I can see a display on top of the Tron: is this an older version of the robot? Or you added the display again?
These things are just horribly expensive for such a low cost when making the product. In 2 years Chinese will make the same quality for 300 to 400 euros. Do not nuy until that.
@@CharliePryor yes but not the Chinse general philosophy. It is a campany that want to earn the more money possible as fast as possible. Not representative of Chinese general strategy that is to sell the most possible with the lower price possible. The real Chinese products will come in 1 or 2 years. The proof the Dreme A1 (if I remeber well) has already iits price lowered by 10% after less than 6 years of life. Next year it will be 30 to 30% at least and perhaps the prodcut will be sold 999 euros rather than 1999 6 montghes ago. Just because if costs no more than 400 to 500 eurtos to buld such a product. And surely 200 to 300 in 1 or 2year when RTK will be democratized.

Yes, it is an older version of the robot. The final version will not have the display panel.
