Hallo Sport Auto! :-) Das ist ein tolles Auto! Und wieder Super gefahren! Aber der Sound klingt irgendwie... sagen wir mal "Komisch"... Find's immer wieder lustig, wie der famose Christian auf letzter Rille immernoch Zeit hat, an sich rumzuzuppeln! ;-) Kürzlich wurde auch der M5 Competition vorgestellt mit schwarzen Akzenten und "Neuerdings" sind die (schwarzen) Nieren auch zusammengewachsen und am Heck ist ein Competition Badge! Wird bestimmt bald ein gefragtes Teil... ;-)))

Lol good point, but those are the 668M form the M550 i think. They do look far better than any wheel offered on the M5, imo the M5's wheels are all trash even the new ones for the Competition model. Not sure what's up with that... I doubt those would make it on the CS though, they don't look like they're particularly light. I'd expect thin spoke wheels, like the 763M

This is a perfect example of a real fast car, being fast in the hardest track is harder than being fast on straight line. This car will fuck the shit out of tesla p100d on any track.

not even the competition pack version. Account for about 10-12secs difference from the fact this is a magazine quick lap and not a factory effort over a few days lap, the car becomes quite astonishing.

Although any car putting up a 8 minute or less on this huge track is amazing. What 99.999% of people watching this video has no idea how this class works. The rule is as long as it can drive on a street somewhere in the world but does not have to meet Germany’s requirements it could be a pre-production car, a concept car or some other car the manufacture want to send to get there name on the list even if it’s questionable.
Some put tract tires on like the CUP 2 there a 80 track 20 street tire big advantage over the Michelin S.S. That are 80 street and 20 track they can use racing fuel or regular pumped fuel. There are so meany non standard factors in this class. And the times are NOT OFFICIAL in this class, it’s just for fun and does not mean anything not even bragging rights.

Still you can't compare manufacturer times with magazine times especially when it's that close. If Porsche did a 7:38 with the Panamera there is no way Sport Auto would've done 7:38 as well, or actually anything under 7:40.

Panamera turbo has rear-axle steering + 4WD
M5 has 4WD,no rear steering,can do same times....
If M5 has both....
Rear steering would add nothing on a car that has torque-vectoring which can already help the car steer by transferring torque around. 4-wheel steering only has an advantage in very slow corners.

Also there are other factors some disclosed and some not disclosed but this class is not accurate, just for fun. The requirement is as long as it can run on a street somewhere in the world but does not have to meet Germany’s standards meaning this class is not regulated some play fair and some do not, some use track tires some do not,

But on this huge track anything around or under 8 minutes is very respectable.

Latvietis96 BMW is claiming 600hp but the Testcar output is 671hp. 71hp gap. E63s should have 612 but outputs 660hp(has you said, dont know if its correct). Gap 48hp. BMW definitly Cheats more - as usual 😂
