Tibidabo announced Muntanya Russa will now offer VR for the 2023 season. This will dramatically slow load times for this coaster. This makes it critical to hit this ride early in the day now to avoid a long wait.
I'm shocked they'd put VR on a coaster with such a great view.
yeah, exactly. This coaster already has a great view... who needs VR?
We barcelonians are asking the same... We all loved VR at Tibidabo Express (the powered coaster) cause it was a "meh" ride, and VR made it a "that's good!!" ride. But at Muntanya Russa... I hope they return the VR to the Express and return Muntanya Russa to how it usually was.
Although I have to say, time has not been drastically increased. Instead of 10 minutes now you wait 20-30... It could be a lot worse!!! :)

The airplane crane ride is insanely unique and rare and old, and that coaster looks good not just in terms of views but the layout as well.

Hi! Surely, Monte Igeldo in San Sebastian is the park with the most stunning views in Spain. Moreover, the older roller coaster in Spain is located there. I love aviation so the plane obersvation ride looks great, the 2 car observation ride looks like a sky wheel combined with a booster.

Best view of any theme park whilst it certainly is beautiful, I think a few other parks could hold that title like Legoland WIndsor, Ocean Park, Alton Towers even Wiener Prater could come close
Those are all pretty parks too. I love the combo of nature and city with this one.

Is there a place to enjoy a nice red wine? It would be wonderful to enjoy the city view with a nice Spanish red.
I imagine there would be somewhere atop the hill, but I didn't look into it.
There are some restaurants at the top. 1 is a fast food restaurant, another one is for pizza, and there's also a small terrace-only restaurant chain, specialized on Serrano ham.
Finally, there's also a nicer restaurant, not fast food like those 3 I've mentioned, but I've never been there. It's also important to note that they're all quite expensive for what rhey offer, but it's defenitely not as critical as other amusement parks I know... cof cof *PortAcentura* cof cof :)
At the base of the funicular there's a small outside bar called "el balconet" (the little balcony in catalan) that is build just on the edge of the hill and has really good views. It's perfect to go have a glass of wine at night when you descend from the funicular. Obviously the views are not the same as from tibidabo because you are lower down but still, they are quite good!

Also, I think the reason they skip level 3 is because level 3 is for administration and only park employees can enter.
That makes sense why they skip 3 then for guests.
We actually wanted to visit this but at the end we didn‘t have time anymore. Do you think replacing this with Parque Warner was worth it?
I prefer Parque Warner, but both parks are great in their own way.
