Ugh totally! Wish they weren’t only pushing product they have ownership in and be honest about office procedures. No way one can age this beautifully with just cbd products or olive oil….
She probably has a great skincare routine, but because she’s sponsored by this company she can barley show anything. I think that’s weak. But I don’t know what the contract says lol. Isn’t it bad to put oil on after washing your face? Don’t you have to use your toner, serums and moisturizer first?
Well Susan Yara greetings from India, I personally love your skincare tips and I think one looks beautiful in one's natural skin colour, texture and features and no amount of cosmetic fillers, surgeries and treatments can make the person more natural, beauty is skin deep and one should always cherish one's beautiful skin, whatever colour it is, all one needs to do is to follow a hygienic lifestyle and skincare regime ❤🙏
I wish Nicole spoke more about some of the treatments she gets regularly. But I also appreciate the fact that she's a private person and also many actors don't feel comfortable being in front of the camera when it's about them and not their character. So I totally get it. What an elegant lady. Love Nicole
I personally know her plastic surgeon and she regularly (every 3-6 months) gets new fillers, residual fillers dissolved and top up Botox; as well as some skin treatments I’m sure.
As someone pale who doesn’t tan, Nicole was my rock through the 90s while it seemed everyone else was getting bronzed/orange 😂 If I remember right, she used to talk about staying out of the sun back then, and the importance of spf, shade, hats, and maybe even gloves - so I’m not surprised her skin is so well maintained. I’d be surprised if she didn’t have regular treatments too, but why not combine modern benefits with the fruits of your self care if you can afford to?
Love her but don't believe for a second that this is her actual skincare routine. I'm convinced she slathers on vitamin A from head to toe and sleeps in a full-body Tupperware container. That's all.
Yes! I remember someone being asked which celeb had the best skin and they answered Nicole Kidman and said her skin is poreless! I’m thinking it was Kelly Ripa who said it? I can’t recall.
I think it's important to remember that Nicole can afford things like regular facials, botox and laser skin resurfacing, keeping it super simple is the best idea if you have regular treatments. You can't use retinol of you have regular laser treatments, which are WAY BETTER than any skin product.
I watch practical magic every Halloween season! ✨🖤🌙 Sandra and Nicole are both so classically gorgeous in it, + a bad boy + sisterhood + magic! And the aunties! Can’t wait for a couple weeks from now 🕯 Also 9 perfects strangers is well done, Nicole Kidman is ethereal, Melissa McCarthy steals the show. It’s both creepy and funny with beautiful imagery - great escapism with nods to real life.
Fun fact…… 11 years ago I had my daughter in a Gymboree class, a parent and child class. We were regulars. But every other week we had new families join our group. One Sunday, guess who walks in the door….. Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban with their toddler daughter!!! All of us freaked but kept it quiet and cool, pretended that she wasn’t a super duper celebrity! Omg I love her and her toddler was playing with my toddler. After the one hour class we left and I almost fainted. Lol This is in the Los Angeles area, so super common to see celebrities, but we were just taken a back because we had no idea. She didn’t come back next Sunday lol maybe changed schedules? Or she was trying out the class… anywho I’ll never forget that hour hahaha
@@hopeking37 that is true. However you don’t expect to see them is all. I guarantee there IS SOMEONE out there that if you saw them in your day to day, that would muster up an internal “OMGGG”! Whether you showed it on the outside or not! 😜
Even though I like reaction videos it seems like most celebrities are sponsored or partnered with someone, which is disappointing to see because the routine most celebrities show is not probably not their routine. It would be cool to see their actual routine.
I love Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock so of course Practical Magic is one of my favourite movies as well. But my all time favourite movie of hers is Moulin Rouge.♥️
I remember Days Of Thunder! That is also the first movie I can recall her in her and her accent. I distinctly remember “Cole let me out of car” I also remember another movie she was in with Tom Cruise where they were immigrants traveling to America to get a piece of land. And of course Practical Magic was the best
OMG Practical Magic is also one of my favorite movies! And yes you should definitely check out nine Perfect Strangers, it's so good! If you didn't know Nicole Kidman was in a dirt biking movie back in the late 80s I believe
Omg yesss, we all wanted to be cool witches lol 🧚♀️Practical Magic, Charmed, The Craft :)) I watched these constantly! Nicole was an absolutely stunning witch!🙂
Lmaooo absolutely have to agree about that generational desire to be cute witches Lolol Yesterday I was actually contemplating watching practical magic again it’s definitely a classic and those two actresses along with the aunts make the whole movie awesome
I once read an interview with her. She said that she always slathers herself in sunscreen. And she wears UV protective clothes when she goes to the beach.
there is no way this is her actual skincare routine. a few years ago, she was partnered with neutrogena and her "skincare routine" then was like 4 products that were all neutrogena. I think she's one of those celebrities where we'll never know their actual skincare routines.
after some googling, she has said she uses a vitamin C serum, a retinol cream (she says Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair), Creme de La Mer and Aquaphor. She also said she likes Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch and Cancer Council sunscreens. 😅 I'm very invested in this now.
Lolol she does that a lot but she says she grew up kind of strick no TVs but she also was a model so I feel like she should know some people from word of mouth
Honestly not all people are in any way aware of pop culture, either they have no time due to spending it on academia, getting degrees, like Cassandra, & work, etc..&/or their upbringing dictates little exposure. It’s not uncommon & this is coming from a pop culture junkie. I grew up exposed to both & as an artist I can’t help but be interested in other creative people.
@@PinCushionQueen Cassandra seems like a genuine person and Im not hating, but how does academic life prevents you from knowing Nikole Kidman. And she know the Kardashians so yeah 🤣
She is so zen! I'm under the impression that when she said she likes to 'exfoliate' once in a while, it means she goes to the esthetician and gets a peel, or full facial done. Which is probably quite often!
Fun fact! My friend who is a long-distance swimmer says that lots of wild swimmers cover themselves in baby butt paste because it lasts longer in the water and has all that zinc sunblock
I'm not sure if it's the same in other countries, but in Australia we've always used "zinc" (sunblock but super thick and not sheer) on beach days, in thick white or colourful sticks like lifesavers use, to coverup from the sun. We're serious about the mean sun here! We had it as kids but it doesn't seem to be a thing anymore (i think sun zapper brand make them). :D
Even though I'm not that white my dad's a redhead so my skin is very reactive to the sun. I got really happy when my dermatologist said my skin was really healthy because I have the type of skin that's 24/7 freckled (I live close to the equator line which means sun all year all the time) so I wear sunscreen everyday and try to keep my pigmentation under control. He had a thing in his arms that could be cancerous (thank God that wasn't) so I know I gotta be diligent about the sun (I think I'ma 3 in the Fitzpatrick scale) 👀
Pretty sure you can apply just zinc and it works great as a sunscreen. The baby butt cream offers some sun protection, but its not ideal as a sunscreen bc there isn't enough zinc in the formulation.
Hey Susan! Watch the interview that is in B&W with her, Charlize, and Margo for that movie they were all in. You’ll know what she more recently had done if you see that video interview.😉
Yes also we grew up with Zinc sticks, like coloured zinc oxide that was meant to show up on the skin, not sure if she slathers that kind of zinc all over
Is everyone just going to ignore the fact that we all know she has definitely had plastic surgery? There is absolutely nothing wrong with that but why can't celebrities be open about the cosmetic procedures they have had done? When celebrities are not open about those kinds of procedures it leads to women having unrealistic expectations about what the aging process looks like.
I feel like I’m going crazy. This skincare routine seems so disingenuous. Don’t get me wrong I love Nicole Kidman as an actress, but 3 products from a brand that you are clearly in business with and one other oil for hair. At least Demi Moore’s routine was more believable.
Did you read the book!?… so much better than the movie… extends into the story of the daughters who are teenagers in the book… both versions are great but there is sooo much more to the story! 😉
Hi Susan!! :) Love your videos thanks for sharing all that info and knowlage. Please, please, please would you mind to review the products of the spanish brand: Laboratorios Babé?? I would love to hear about your thoughts. Thank you again. 🌷🌼🌟
I have a question about oils. I use Squaline and I do use Ponds face moisturizer. Not the oil-based cold cream, but the water-based moisturizer. The Ponds still feel a bit heavy but should I still use the oil after the moisturizer since the moisturizer is water-based?
Both of those movies are such classics for our generation practical magic one of my all-time favorite days of thunder might be the first time I also saw Nicole Kidman is that how she met Tom Cruise who she's married to for quite a while, Are used to live in California and my make up and skin care sales guy Dalbert at Barney's on Wilshire in BH (RIP Barney's) also used to take care of Nicole Kidman, He was the absolute best and even after I moved back to Chicago are used to have them help me over the phone like how we spent way too much money at their sale they had twice a year wasn't really a sale it was a promotion you can spend a ton of money but you got a ton of free stuff I got sucked in every year twice a year, Also from what I heard and not just from him from other stores on Wilshire and rodeo Barney's is next to Sak's which is next to Neiman's she buys a TON of skincare, she may be partnering with this brand but I know from what I heard she used a lot of Shiseido and a lot of Clea De Pau (I definitely butchered the spelling of that)
