If done extremely well it can be at least 200ms or a touch more (roughly), even doing it semi-decent like I did lap 1 still saved at least 100-150ms I'd say. This is definitely a high risk strategy that has a brutal punishment if you hop too late, if it was a 12 track event like an online TT lounge I'd probably reserve it for comeback situations, but for this I'm full sending most of the big strats I know!
Good question, you're able to select your vehicle between each race, but currently unable to choose your combo after the track is chosen (with this being a partially adapted version of Online TT in Retro Rewind currently). Full version hopefully sometime down the line when it is fully integrated within Pulsar for other distributions to be able to use it!

Mostly Friday evenings the past 1.5 months, starting around 8PM EST. With how my schedule is right now mostly will be able to stream Fridays and/or Saturdays. If it is Saturdays I generally try to start earlier in the day for my audience in other parts of the world to have an easier time of watching :)
Good question! In online there’s always a discrepancy up to ~1 frame (~.017 I believe) between your local time and what’s recorded between racers online, so this behavior of times is typical 👍🏻
