9:35 That guy wasn't stealing anything, he was just running to the other Queens pizza places you missed : Amore Pizza in Whitestone, Rosa's Pizza in Maspeth, and Ciro's Pizza in Rockaway Park
🤣🤣🤣
Damn, John really missed all those good places? Maybe for part 2, lol.
AK another one is Philomena's, a hidden gem. And Bellucci in Astoria, they make a Vodka-Roni slice that is quite popular.
I love Rosa's on 69th.
Rosa’s on 69th Maspeth is phenomenal!!
Mini Italia Fresh pond road and Palmetto has very good pizza
Amore pizza in Whitestone is a must. My fav in Queens hands down.
Amore's is the best!
Bellucci pizza in Astoria. Rosas on maspeth Gabys in hillside ave margarita on Jamaica ave
I found Gaby's this summer. It's one of my favorites.
Man who are you .. heavy hitters on your list. My. Kind of guy.
Rosas in maspeth is lit
Grew up on gabbys but it is not the same🤷🏿
Margarita is a hood classic
We always called Dani’s the Pizza nazi. The owner was 110 yr old lady dressed in all black. She would work the 5 seats at the counter serving slices and drinks. If you didn’t order enough food she would curse you in Italian. We went and ordered 1 slice and a glass of water. She went friggin nuts. She also worked the register. She trusted no one. RIP sweet princess
You missed Gabys Pizza on Francis Lewis Blvd and about 205 st, and Mimi’s on 215 st in Queens Village North.
Guys I’m Puerto Rican raised in NYC since 1 yo, watching you makes me miss home. I’m stuck in the Philippines right now and I’m hungry for all those foods. Thanks for sharing great food there.it’s sad that many places are shutting down. I’m living in florida though. Thanks.
Check out Margarita Pizza on Jamaica Ave! You've helped me find some new spots here in Queens to check out---thanks!
Yes I can't believe they missed that classic. It's been there for 40/50 years.
@@Samantha-jc5mu yesss! I had pizza there TWICE just last week lol. Too good!
Margaritas is too hot but idc lol
This video just made me feel prouder of my borough. Queens All Day 🙌. Great vid
You guys missed Lucia’s pizza in flushing and Amore’s pizza in Whitestone
Big facts luciaaaaa the best
Amore is in Flushing, not Whitestone. Close to the border though.
@@JordanDinRI Same thing.
@@aurora_skonyt it’s not but close enough 😉
Can't wait! Will have my first taste of New York in a few weeks. Love your videos!
Great videos. I would say German cuisine flies under the radar. I suggest Zum Stammtisch restaurant in Glendale Queens. It has a German delicatessen attached to it.
Waitresses wear dirndl dresses. The food is very filling, you won't leave hungry.
German pizza too, flammkuchen 😏. Tasty
As someone who has lived and worked in several neighborhoods of Queens I really appreciate this video! I have fond memories of New Park Pizza during grad school. :)
NICKS!!! My husband and I are from forest hills and trust me nick's NEVER disappoints. Maybe I am biased but I find it's better than most supposedly "top" spots in nyc. trust me trust me, nicks is the sleeper in NYC
I am from Queens and I ate New Park Pizza regularly before we moved to Forest Hills. That place is always busy because it's simply the real deal. I do love to try specialty slices and would give the Thanksgiving pizza a try.
👌🏻
yup Dani's, New Park and Nicks are all fantastic
Have to check out Lucia and Amore in Flushing. Also Ginos across the street from Queens College.
I've been to Nick's and New Park Pizza and they're both great in their own way. I would also suggest Lucia's in Flushing. It's a hole in the wall and you feel like you're suspended in time when you go there. Their thin slice pizza is the bomb 😋
Yea I don't if you remember but I do it's was like Gloria pizza on main Street back in the day. And I think there is a little history of that there
Amore pizza in Flushing is the best slice in the borough! They are the true successors to the Legendary Gloria’s on Main Street. Lucia’s in Flushing is a close second
Was up Jay you might know this but Gloria's from main street their now in Forest Hills next to the movie theatre.
VIP Bell Blvd Bayside. There at least 40 years. And yes, New Park is one of my favorites.
Nobody from NY has heart and passion like Jon 🔥
Great video. You both are so humble and so grateful. Love it keep up the good work as always.
That's the first time I ever saw a turkey dinner pizza. I would definitely try it. The last stop looked the best.
I cracked up laughing when that guy ran through your shot at Dani’s 😂😂😂 I love how your friend hollers “Did he steal something?!” Great job on your videos Jon. I have felt in my spirit for over a decade that at some point I will live in NY. And of all the youtubers in nyc, your videos have most captured my attention and given me so much useful information. Thank you for the work you do. Be blessed. 😊
Astoria is one of the few OG neighborhoods left in NYC. Queens is underrated.
Jon’s bite into food face is a spectacle 🤣
That second pizza shop is crazy! I would eat all that!
Hey Jon, i lived in Queens NY for 40 years. I miss it everyday. Especially the food. Lol. Queens has it all.
Yes they do
I always love it when you make a pizza video. Dont hang out too much at Queens, but all those places look great to be honest, i especially like Rosarios, looks like a nice family place with a very good Italian deli. Definitely will go there soon.
So many great pizza places in Queens, Bronx, Brooklyn, Staten Island and Manhattan. There is a pizza for every taste bud. Haven't been to Krave yet. Looks interesting.
I tried it recently. I was surprised how good it was, they also serve a blue berry soda which was really good.
NYC pizza looks delicious. Very clever pizza topping concepts ! Can't wait to visit & try these pizza hot spots !😳🍕
Woodside pizza is amazing as well. Astoria is by far the best area for food in all 5 boroughs. Living in sunnyside might make me a tiny bit bias!! 😊
You hit the nail on the head. Dead on! New Park, Dani’s & Nick’s. My 3 fav plain slice spots. Excellent job boys!!! If you ever want to do a square pizza show … try LaVilla in Lindenwood Queens. Caprese & La Nonna…phenomenal!!!
Haha “what life decisions led me to this dark, dismal path” that has to be a bourdain quote!
🤷🏻♂️
That’s a quote from that shoplifter!
Yes, a very "Bordainan" sentence.
A slice of pizza and a cold drink is hardly a dismal path. In fact its the best pick me up in a hectic city. Nothing like a quiet meal in a pizza shop after a hard day.
*hops in a red mustang and drives off…. **ring ring** Food Network calling
Rosa's pizza in Ridgewood on Fresh Pond road, Joe and John's pizzeria on Myrtle av. and Mano's pizza on Forest av. ( new spot but definitely worth it)
My favorite is Rosa’s on FPR also!
Crazy pizzas aren't normally my vibe but I would definitely give that Thanksgiving one a try, so neat and creative!
Krave It is so legit. The owner is really nice too. I even have the menu on my fridge lol. This sounds like a paid ad but I love that place.
@@brianlevy I live in Florida...I live on an island. We have Dominoes ...PERIODT
I am beyond jealous.... JEALOUS! That Thanksgiving pizza? I would have that for Thanksgiving...forget cooking anything!
And it's a new establishment where I believe it opened up this year.
Forest Hills is blessed to have multiple great pizza options:
Nick's Pizza, in the video
Austin Street Pizza
Dante's (Grandma Pie Pizza)
Numero 28 (a chain, but still very good)
You forgot Glorias and Lillians. D'Angelos and Tomato and Pesto.
I have honestly never tried pizza from Queens but I'll definitely try the spots you showed
Love your videos, just found your channel. Keep up the good work.
Ohh, Jon…Thank you So much for this! I THOROUGHLY enjoyed this!
More to add to pick from when I hit the NYC pizza bucket list 😀. One day my friend 😀.
Much thanks for your efforts and tour of your great city -👍
Those slices from #2 are stacked!! You guys were eating pizza from day to night 🙌
Might be a new record for me
Amen. . I've seen all your food vlogs on Queens' food and they are delicious. I also eat pizza backwards at times(back to front).I remember when you could get a slice of kimchi pizza in downtown flushing. So much good pizza.
That Margarita pizza at nicks looks amazing! I miss home! Cant wait to go back!
Tommy's in the Bronx (right over the throggs neck) it's basically Queens. Sicilian or the regular. Minka
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2022
JOHN
Astoria (my old hood) definitely has some of the best pizza in NYC! Try Sofia’s Pizza on Rockaway Blvd next time. Pizza there & many other Italian dishes there are really good!!!
Excellent!😋👍. Will definitely check those places out
omg FRIED OREO PIZZA??? 😍something I never knew I needed
👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Probably tastes good. Too many watching my figure. LOL
Yes to pesto sauce instead of tomato on pizza 😄 been doing it for a while 👍
I'm from the south. New Park Pizza was my first NY slice back in like 1992 or 1993. I still live in the south and it's still the slice I compare all NY style slices to.
Glad you visited
Lucia Pizza in Flushing! I'd treat myself to a slice or two after a long day of classes at Queens College
New York Pizza is the best and most delicious 🍕😋
Love your pizza videos 😋
I combine pesto and tomato sauce for my pasta. I agree it's a tasty combination.
Lucia's in Flushing Queens is a must!
Part 2, i'm seeing a lot of the same names.
Are we ever going to get a great pizzeria here in London??
NYC style pizza would make a big splash here..
Good pizza is a treasure 😌
I’ll stick with the regular pizza. The first one looked great!
To think, last year we were supposed to hit up Nick's when we did our video together. And now you went to Dani's as well by where I currently live. Both places make me proud to be in Central Queens. Speaking of good Queens pizza, Slice LIC, Pizza Sam, and Amore Pizza are all great choices too. Excellent video Jon
Thanks Ian. Yes Nicks was not meant to be last year but was worth the wait
Slice is fire!
Everyone's bucket list should include hitting the best pizza spots in every burrough of New York
All that pizza would defo will be tried when go on holiday in nyc. Nice video
Dang! I’m so hungry after watching this!🤪 Thanks Jon.
Lucía pizza in Flushing Queens and Amore pizza also in Flushing Queens. The two are within walking distance of one another. And you will be very happy after eating slices from these two spots. Also Gaby's in Hollis Queens.
WOW.. craving all those Pizzas from now! I guess ill try them all if i have time when i get there next week 🤭🥲
Great Show!
AH...You Guys are Killing Me !....Boy, do I miss NY PIZZA.......Great Video........Thank you...
dope definitely will check some of these spots out next time im down
As living almost 30 years in Queens I can say every area has probably not one but multiple great places. Aside from Dan’s and Nicks there also Paul Michael’s Brick Oven Pizza with great story of Solerno, Italy native after going to culinary school there came to NYC and opened it in 2003 or 28 year old Dee’s Brick Oven pizza where Ray Romano’s family come for pizza and Italian food. Btw Nick’s one of my wife’s favorite place. As for me I grew up going to Rosa’s pizza in Maspeth. There my friend always get eggplant and I would experiment with ziti pizza, or taco pizza. Not sure about now but back in 90s Maspeth was area where every block had pizzeria and sometimes more than one
Oh this easily could have been 10 places. But 5 was our limit for one day
@@HereBeBarr Understandable especially trying more than one slice + Turkey dinner 😂
New Park is the only place in the video I've tried before and it is quite good. When I went there, I noticed that they had these red old school cash registers which I've never seen anywhere else nowadays. Also, I think I'll be trying that pesto pizza in the imminent future 😋
Greetings from Czech republic, just love your vids about NY, hope once i will make it to there and i'm gonna follow all your recommendations:)
👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
You'll definitely enjoy the pizza in NY
All awesome! I happen to like Brother's on Horace Harding in Fresh Meadows. Never been to Nick's, will have to try!
Romeo's in Ozone Park - about 1/2 mile from New Park has great specialty slices. sLICe in Astoria & LIC has a great regular slice, Gloria's in Forest Hills has a LONG history and GREAT regular slice and then there is Amore, Lucia, and Margherita that are carbon copies of each other
I feel like Samaria’s Pizza in Astoria, by Bel Aire Diner, is one of the best crunchy cheesy pizzas you can get from a small family owned joint. I love it, and my grandfather grew up eating that pizza. All my personal opinion,
You forgot Pizza Classica, union turnpike in the Stop&Shop mall.
Dang I was in queens literally 2 weeks ago…I’ll have to try these spots next time I visit!
I knew Dani's would be on here. Their tomato sauce is TOO sweet to me, but just a little on the pesto slice is a win 👌
Jar of gram jam In every pot of sauce. Danis is way overrated.
Stace...You are spot-on. Dani's sauce is WAY too sweet. It used to be a perfect sauce...now it's basically tomato candy.
@@bk-terminator3617 if you know you know
The Chicken Tikka slice looks amazing!
That’s not pizza, sorry.
I just love pizza ....I would happily do a pizza tour of NYC
The pizza looked awesome. I'd eat the Thanksgiving all day. But I must confess I'm a Brooklyn guy lol
Gotta give queens some love here
@@HereBeBarr absolutely!
Oh man😋 I've had Brooklyn pizza. I can't wait to try Queen pizza. I will be visiting again in December. ❤❤
You should!
Just moved to Astoria, thanks for these sicc recs!
Go to Rizzo's on Steinway and get a slice of Sicilian, a very unique and delicious crust and sauce.
You should try ginos pizzeria is by 44 th and Broadway they even delivered fast to your door
Jon as a Chicagoan I love pizza. I would like to try the pizza from Astoria and Rosario's deli.
Gino's is good (across the street from New Park Pizza in Howard Beach). Dani's is good also (listed in video). It's great for late nights, as they used to close super late pre-corona.
Margaritas on Jamaica Ave, Lucia on Roosevelt Ave and Main Street Flushing are also two of my favorites.
Sick vid!!
Nicks was absolutely the best pie looking pie for me.
My Dad and I are planning a trip to Queens to see our first Mets game in NY in years. Definitely gonna stop by Nick’s.
New Park Pizza grew up in that area late 70's t 2004 love that slice!
you guys shoulda try Austin St Pizza! Great New spot in forest hills!
Jon, nicely done as always. That Thanksgiving Pizza had to be the bomb. Good stuff. Keep up the good work.
I just came back from Woodside, Queens, NY. yesterday. I wish I would have seen this video before. I would have went. I was looking for a good pizza place in Queens.I wasn’t too far from Astoria. Thanks for your advice about NY. I watch your videos all the time.
You should try Genos pizzeria is by 43 and Broadway in Astoria they even delivered fast to your door
@@Frankieefootballmundial Oh Wow, I think next time I’ll give them a try. Too bad I’m back home in Dallas. Thanks!
Goldang.....so much pizza! not sure about the second one, but they all looked tasty. Insane robber running through your shoot! Might have been a dare or something...hopefully
Sunnyside pizza adds seseme seeds to its crust that sets it apart. They roast in the oven so well.
Sweet potato with marshmallow sounds good! Never thought of those going on pizza before. I would eat a slice of that pizza, but without the turkey. A veggie Thanksgiving/Christmas pizza!
That's so weird how the guy just ran through your vlog. A lot of crazy things must happen in NYC sometimes.
Who could forget the late lamented Gloria Pizza on Main Street in Flushing by the Q65 bus stop!
Yes that deli is serious and that mozzarella in Astoria is fresh you can't beat that...
Good Sunday Morning Jon
That 🍕🍕🍕🍕 @ Danny's Look So Good So When You Come To Tampa Florida And Stream I Recommend You To Try PAPA John's Pizza & New York City Pizza In Ybor City

와!!! 치즈 폭탄이에요 !! 한가지 피자에 정말 다양한 재료가 토핑되어 있네요 정말 멋져요 !! 👍✨🥰🥳 정말 환상적이에요 🎊🥳😋
Gotta check out Dream pizza on junction blvd. in Queens. Been there in the same location 40 yrs. Pizza there is bussin!!
We’re lucky to live very close to Nicks so take out is a snap and we do it often. New Park is also great. Rosas is also a good option since they also serve meals that are huge.
yummm its midnight and im craving for some pizza
