Allow me to adjust my textual glasses here and say: Guys. Let a brother do. I'll get the ending I get depending on what happens. My fuck ups/poor judgement/wanting to see if the game was cool enough to give you 2,000 for bringing him in will give me the ending I deserve. I am playing this how I would play this, well, how I would play this is I am not spamming quick save and quick load. If I were doing that, I wouldn't have killed a damn soul by now, but FUCK would it be less enjoyable for everyone to sit through that shit storm of a video. Just chill, guys.

I agree. Personally I would've probably been more stealthy coz I love that element of a game. Only issue I had was killing slackjaw...but hey fuck slackjaw anyway lol
Scrub Jones I totally would've done his quest first just to find out what he had for me, THEN killed him and tried to get a reward afterwards. xD But live and let live, man. Cry's a bigger man than I, cause I struggle so much with perfectionism and never end up finishing any games because of it lately. Respect to him for being able to step back and just let things be as they are.
gotta love how cry always manages to think up a scenario the DESIGNERS NEVER THOUGHT and thusly breaks the scene the game and the fourth wall in that order
Oh man I loved the part when Cry killed Slackjaw because he thought he would get a reward... "Well, gotta go take him to the guard." *Yeah, take him to the guard, the guards that...... also want Corvo dead. Oh...* LOL
I don't see how people are judging his gameplay as if he knows exactly what everything he chooses to do will effect right on the spot. He's going by his own instinct; WHICH IS EXACTLY HOW GAMES LIKE THIS ARE MEANT TO BE PLAYED - WHETHER OR NOT MISTAKES ARE MADE IN THE PROCESS. I honestly haven't cared a bit for what choices Cry has made so far. They're his, and I'm just sitting back and having fun watching his great gameplays as I, a subscriber should do. Not nag the hell out of him day and night. Seriously, guys. :L
"He rubs me the wrong way. I mean it isn't too hard to rub a guy the right way. Samuel here knows how to do it. Hey Samuel!" So what are you having an affair with Samuel now
Corvo: "Hello, I'd like to claim the bounty for Slackjaw." Government Official: "Okay let me just... hey aren't you that guy who's charged with killing the Empress?" Corvo: "Yeah, so?" Government Official: "Why should I give you ANY money? You're a fugitive!" Corvo: "But... I killed Slackjaw." Government Official: "AND OUR EMPRESS! SIEZE HIM!" GAME OVER
The real reason it sucks that he killed Slackjaw is because he's probably gonna miss out on a really interesting part of the game now, involving Slackjaw and Granny Rags, for no reason! *sigh*
I don't care what ending he gets, it's obvious to see he's not gonna get the "good" one at this rate (you think otherwise play the game yourself, it's a little tougher than you think). Now all i can think about on this episode is how he killed that guard peeing......then carried him........needless to say i wouldn't choose to have some guys pee soak my shirt but hey, not my call. Whatever floats yer boat Cry.
Not sure if you realized, but you're being hunted by the City Watch. Did you honestly think they'd give you the bounty for killing a man that's a lot less wanted than you?! Especially a shame since Slackjaw's an awesome character throughout the whole game. You never even used the heart on him :( And you're not seeing any more of Granny Rags's story, since their storylines are related
Yep, Cry's never gonna see the Granny and Slackjaw encounter anymore. And its a shame cus we know Cry is a connoisseur of interesting plot developements. Oh well...
I like Cry's motto to games like this. It's literally: "NO FUCKS GIVEN~" But seriously people, stop bitching. If it 'wasn't supposed to happen', then it shouldn't have been made possible in the game. Just let it go and enjoy Cry's care free nature.
Cry, you are my favorite youtuber ^w^ and i'm sure lots of other people are the same way! But, c'mon guys.... Let him get his own ending! He is the one that chooses it! So what if he misses some cool things? If he really wants yo see it he can replay it! So calm the hell down everyone!
i'm not gonna yell at you about your decision cry but i must just say that when you killed Slackjaw i quietly said "nooooooooo. he had such a good story" but i'll live with the decision you made it's your play through.
Cry I was having a really shitty day And then I saw, that despite it's a Saturday, you had posted the next video. I love this series, and I just want to say, Thank you so much for making my day a million times better
You know, the people who "yell" at Cry for playing the way he wants, as you guys keep saying... They're "yelling" because he's doing things that are making him miss out on awesome story elements that they know he would have enjoyed. Like, with Slackjaw? Slackjaw is exactly the kind of character that Cry would have adored, but he killed him, so nothing is going to happen. Luckily I've played the game, so I can stop watching now and suffer no foul. I'll admit, I'm one hell of a backseat gamer, and when people don't play it the way I feel is best, I get a little annoyed. With this, that way to play is to exhaust every side mission and explore fully, and to commit to one playstyle. Cry is doing neither of these, and I can't fault him for that. He's a Let's Player, and beyond that, he's a crowd pleaser. He doesn't want to bore us, so he's doing things that he feels would be interesting. That's usually a good thing, but I can't handle it really. So, I'm just not going to watch for the rest. Just wanted to get my thoughts out there.
"See, in real people land, secret entrances aren't really cool....later!" Love that phrase so much! Cry, i know you did this years ago but I love rewatching it!
Now that Slackjaw is dead, he is gonna miss out on a VERY interesting quest involving Granny Rags and him. Damn, all that lore that's gonna be missed. :(
Cry. the reason we've been bugging you about Chaos is because: 1) you won't like the ending you're going to get. At all. Not even Bioshock's bad ending is this bad. 2) the story is much more interesting if you don't kill people, 3) your allies will start to treat you like shit.
Roy B SPOILER its ok he was insulting me and im just like ok yeah ok and than is last insult im like YA KNOW WHAT SCREW YOU and than i killed him AND IT DIDNT DISSOLVE THE CONSPIRACY
90acceptance Not at all, not mudering people means the game becomes a bit challenging, and allows for a lot of wacky things to happen, not to mention reaching secret places.
It's been nearly a year since I last touched Dishonored and to be honest I am thoroughly enjoying seeing Cry play through this in his way. Keep it up Cry, you're doing great!
Cry, your videos are just fantastic. I'm always thoroughly enjoying your quality and commentary. It's like I'm watching an actual television series, I just love it. So professionally constructed and edited! Phenomenal as always! : )
Thanks for the upload, because life is kinda shitty. You make it not so shitty. I appreciate that. And when you killed Slackjaw it made me laugh a lot. I don't think that's a good thing... Also, your sneeze is adorable. Bless you xD
Unfortunately killing Slackjaw disables the entire subplot before it ever began. I guess we'll never know what Cry's reaction to Granny's secret would be like.
People tell me to buy game if I want a different ending - not enough money to buy the game in the first place. But it's whatever, I'm still a loyal sub to Cry. I literally have developed his speech patterns, as weird as that may seem, I'm just a very impressionable person. I just think it'd be cool to see what he had in mind for getting into The Golden Cat (I think it's called). I've gone through a ton of the comments and it seems that there was gonna be an interesting plot line. That's why I kind of don't like the whole "different endings" things that games are incorporating. Even though it's a really cool feature, it makes me nervous playing through games, wondering if I make the right choices. Like Dark Souls. For god sake.
I love your play style Cry. Getting directions but still doing what you want is really entertaining, and I love the chaos you're raising. Keep up the good work!
O.o Wait a minute... The character you're playing is wanted by the guard, too, right? So wouldn't they just shoot you down if you tried to walk in there with Slackjaw's corpse? Then the guy who got you would claim the reward for both Slackjaw AND you, and that would suck. Well, for you. I'm pretty sure the guard that got the double bonus would think it's pretty awesome. Then again, I suppose I can understand why you want to see if you can pull the wool over their eyes. That being said, I'd have waited until I got the info on how to sneak into the Golden Cat, first, THEN killed him. And I don't even want to contemplate what that says about myself that that would be my first, instinctive reaction, if I wanted to try for the reward. lol!
Good ending or bad ending, couldn't care less. Whatever ending you get, watching you play this really entertains me and I like it :] I didn't actually think about killing Slackjaw, but I mean, that's one way to do things, amirite? :D I got the good ending even though I killed a lot of people because Shadow Kill was the first thing I upgraded to Level II, so the peeps I killed just...disappeared. Thus, no chaos. No chaos = no one is alert = City isn't scared = Emily doesn't know.
I honestly find the way Cry plays this game fascinating. My first play through of this game had me with a very low Chaos rating but it was because I left no witnesses alive! I can appreciate his tactics especially because it seems very hard at times to remain stealthy, in very unfortunately timed ways. Sometimes makes me feel the game DOESN'T want you to " get the good ending". Either way, keep doing what you do, Cry. It's certainly fun to watch! (Also, bless you. I think I read somewhere that sneezing twice meant someone was thinking something good about you, so there's that)
Cry, you can do things whatever way you want. BUT KILLING SLACKJAW RIGHT OF THE BAT???!!! Couldn't you at least do the things for him, and then kill him? sigh* Anyway, you can't claim the reward since you are a wanted man yourself, remember? You got to reload your save, just this once. If you however choose not to do that, well... At least that's something different I guess... (pretty please bring slackjaw back even if you choose to take him out later)
I started laughing once he asked why there was so many weepers suddenly right after he killed the thugs. He even read that more deaths means more rats or weepers. lol
I mean, I was one of those people who was like, "Yeah, Cry! Play the game however you like!", but you killing Slackjaw made me cringe a little. Also, it looks like you've given up on getting the low chaos ending but I think it's actually still possible if you try, but since you just lost the option to rid the Pendleton brothers non-lethally maybe not... Either way, people coin the high chaos ending as the "bad ending", and from a moral standpoint it kinda is, but all the endings are awesome anyway.
Same here. I don't mind Cry playing the game however he wants. He's the player, not us. But, yeah, the killing Slackjaw thing made me cringe too. I mean, why? He's not gonna get the bounty and I feel like Slackjaw will be needed later on in the game.
ThePlatypusClan Yeah, there are 3 main endings, and even in that there are a few variations that occur depending on certain significant actions the player chooses to take.
***** I dunno, I think all the endings are all pretty good in their own ways. Also, you can kill a lot of people and still get the low chaos ending. A lot of people say that in order to get the high chaos ending you need to kill around over 50% of the people encountered in Dunwall, which is actually pretty hard to do considering the amount of people there are. There's also a lot random side missions which can keep chaos down. You don't need to save scum in order to get low chaos, and personally I find playing in low chaos equally enjoyable. But yeah, Cry can play however he likes.
Cry, you are the only person I know who looks at what the game wants you to do and does what you want anyway. It's hilarious XD much more fun than following the directions. You aren't terrible, don't worry. I find you way of doing things much more entertaining
Cry, Every choice you have made so far in this game, I love! Because its you and your unique personality. You are the way you are and you are funny. And that's why I watch your videos. Keep doing what you are doing Cry
I'll always admire him taking the time to read the notes and books, he's so literate, most people don't do that, I don't do that, but Cry, well dame, I can't help but listen to him read rather than just skipping it or something. Have no idea if you'll ever even see this and I know you hear it a lot, but thanks Cry, what you do means a lot, every small little thing...ZOOM!
At this point so many things have gone wrong that it's become more of a comedy series than a serious lets play. Cry, you sexy beast, you keep doing what you're doing. It's hilarious.
I can't believe you are just now on the Pendletons. I applaud you for fleshing this game out more than anyone I know...and then I saw you brutally murder SlackJaw...Damn...
I know it's an old comment but whatever lol. they're not zombies, they're just very sick people. They're not being controlled by a virus like Ethan says, it's the plague fever that makes them disorientated and hostile in the last stage of the disease which is why they attack people :).
This is why I love Dishonored, it just rolls with whatever you do, it adapts and allows you to screw up and still be able to finish it and get a lot of enjoyment out of it.
I'm pretty sure you can't collect the reward for Slackjaw since in most games wanted posters on the wall, or other papers on the wall, are just there for show and can't really interact with them, sorry man but you done goof'd :L
I really do enjoy watching you play how a person new to the game really would play, trust me when I say you're doing just fine. ...That said, i'd classify a Cry controlled Corvo as a class 2 scope on a class 3 severity on the Apocalypse How meter, by the end of this, Dunwall is going to be short about 50% of it's population. This is going to be an interesting playthrough.
Aaaah, why would you kill Slack Jaw?! I mean, he's not a very good person, but he's probably really useful! And he distributes cures to the citizens, so killing him means a huge portion of the city gets infected. All those innocent people, man, think about it. Mmm, not very happy with this. On a side note, I wonder what the deal with Granny is. She seems to have some kind of plan. And she seems to survive really well, for some reason.
Alright, alright, I'll actually try and explain myself, so maybe my viewpoint is more understandable and you might reconsider the whole hating me part. First, my liking or disliking anything has no affect on the way Cry plays. I'm not his mom and he doesn't have to listen to anything I say. My opinion is just that, an opinion. Personally, I wouldn't choose to kill Slackjaw. That doesn't mean I want Cry to play it any differently than the way he does. It's his game and his playthrough and he gets to do whatever the heck he wants to with it. Second off, the reason I was unhappy was not because Cry decided to kill off a fictional character. It was more because I didn't see the reason for it. For the money? Corvo gets money all the time. Slackjaw holds a key position in the city and just for tactical reasons alone I would not kill Slackjaw. But the game emphasizes the individuality of each character, how each has a lover or a family or a past that drives him/her. Killing Slackjaw seemed both illogical and kind of cold, which I didn't expect from someone like Cry. Again though, not me or my game. He did also say last time that he was blowing off some steam with this game, so if that means using his sword more than he usually would, who am I to judge him for it?
Chelsea P Just want to clarify that Slackjaw and Granny Rags' stories tie together HEAVILY, so Slackjaw being dead has completely cancelled out Granny's story. If you watch this Let's Play only, you won't be seeing any more of her.

Excellent vid, terrible comments section. Cry is a man after my own heart. Play the game through naturally the first time and let come what may come. I concur with your statement!
I agree. Personally I would've probably been more stealthy coz I love that element of a game. Only issue I had was killing slackjaw...but hey fuck slackjaw anyway lol

"Well, gotta go take him to the guard."
*Yeah, take him to the guard, the guards that...... also want Corvo dead. Oh...* LOL
Yeah, kind of a stupid move if you ask me
I don't see how people are judging his gameplay as if he knows exactly what everything he chooses to do will effect right on the spot.
:L
***** Aren't they though??? Haha, your comment made me laugh :>
you are right this is what makes cry amazing and my fave you tuber for this type of games.
confederacy cat same here!
Those sneezes man. Adorable.
this is a little old, but...
Those sneezes are manly! MANLY I SAY!
"You see in real people land, sewer entrances aren't that cool."
"Later!"
Cry: * throws Slackjaw's body towards the rats *
Me: Dude, won't they just eat him?
*5 minutes later*
Me: Fuckin' knew it.
Cry. You're a wanted man, and there's a bounty on YOU, too. You can't claim that bounty at all.
"He rubs me the wrong way. I mean it isn't too hard to rub a guy the right way. Samuel here knows how to do it. Hey Samuel!"
So what are you having an affair with Samuel now
Can you feel the love tonight
"Go to sleep Corvo"
"But the sun's still up.."
"GO TO SLEEP CORVO"
Havelock then brings some warm milk and tucks Corvo in so he can get his rest
At 28:59 When cry starts sneezing I said "Bless you" irl then noticed what a doof I am
1manmoofilms same xD
Corvo: "Hello, I'd like to claim the bounty for Slackjaw."
Government Official: "Okay let me just... hey aren't you that guy who's charged with killing the Empress?"
Corvo: "Yeah, so?"
Government Official: "Why should I give you ANY money? You're a fugitive!"
Corvo: "But... I killed Slackjaw."
Government Official: "AND OUR EMPRESS! SIEZE HIM!"
GAME OVER
Pretty sure Corvo's enough of a badass that he'd just murder all the guards anyway.
Metipocalypse Yeah, but then you have to remember Cry is playing him.
When he killed Slackjaw, I burst out laughing.....Oh man, that was funny.
The real reason it sucks that he killed Slackjaw is because he's probably gonna miss out on a really interesting part of the game now, involving Slackjaw and Granny Rags, for no reason! *sigh*
Everything that could have went wrong, went wrong in this video.
He's trying..

he is...but he isent that good

If killing Slackjaw was important to the Granny Rags storyline, then Cry really fucked up. Granny is the best part of this game to me.
sucks for you then.
Not sure if you realized, but you're being hunted by the City Watch. Did you honestly think they'd give you the bounty for killing a man that's a lot less wanted than you?! Cry's kind of like Tybalt from Romeo and Juliet but instead of being "Prince of Cats", Cry is "Prince of Rats". Neat.
i'm not gonna yell at you about your decision cry but i must just say that when you killed Slackjaw i quietly said "nooooooooo. he had such a good story" but i'll live with the decision you made it's your play through.
After almost fainting at work due to a fever, watching cry is exactly what I needed!
"Let's see if I get the money!"

Cry
I was having a really shitty day

You know, the people who "yell" at Cry for playing the way he wants, as you guys keep saying... All I'm saying is though...
Cry can never get the reward. Even if he tried.
OH. That's right. Even if you could go and claim it in the game, Corvo is still wanted so he can't get anything D:
True
Bless you, Bless you, Bless you,! BLESS YOU! *Your welcome* 29:00
Wow, Cry XD 25:14 So you want to show his body to the guards and you just throw him to the rats? That's brilliant, I say!
' I can't see any good tendencies among City Watch'
*cough* Curnow *cough*
"See, in real people land, secret entrances aren't really cool....later!" Love that phrase so much! Cry, i know you did this years ago but I love rewatching it!

Cry, I still don't think you have any idea how many bone charms are in Corvo's room. Seriously. It's a gold mine in there.
I.. don't actually think you can claim the bounty xD
What? You mean the guy with an even higher bounty can't just walk into the collection office without anyone caring? XD

I got the good ending even though I killed a lot of people because Shadow Kill was the first thing I upgraded to Level II, so the peeps I killed just...disappeared.
What aahelo said. o_o
I started laughing once he asked why there was so many weepers suddenly right after he killed the thugs. He even read that more deaths means more rats or weepers. lol
I NEVER read descriptions. But after I read yours I always check the description box before watching the videos! It's just..TOO COOL NOT TO READ! *^*
Love your videos Cry, thanks for being so dedicated to your fans. Definitely one if the RUclips giants.
When Cry sneeze... adorable!>
Everything cry does is adorable.
I love the suspense of this series. Thanks for playing this Cry!
I cant wait for more!
Zeirika Indeed. Granny Rags will be sad when no one comes to dinner.
Wait, there are more than 2 endings?
Aww Cry, I'm actually looking forwards to seeing the ending no matter what it is! And you uploaded on a Saturday, so sweet! Take a break and chill! :3
Cryaotic You're awesome! ^_^
Also I am thoroughly enjoying your play through of Dishonoured and bless you x2 for sneezing.
Cry, you are the only person I know who looks at what the game wants you to do and does what you want anyway. It's hilarious XD much more fun than following the directions. You aren't terrible, don't worry. I find you way of doing things much more entertaining
I said bless you when he sneezed... >.
It's been three days and it's finally here!! I almost couldn't make it without another episode! :D
24:55 Biggest. Facepalm. Ever.
Wait what, again Cry, we'll thank you sir, for the continued content, even on your day off, we love ya man
*sees Pendleton drinking some mysterious drink often*
Me: Pendleton, whatcha drinkin' there? *gasp* POLYJUICE POTION?!
Cry, Every choice you have made so far in this game, I love! Because its you and your unique personality. You are the way you are and you are funny. And that's why I watch your videos. Keep doing what you are doing Cry
I laughed so hard when he started his killing rampage with slackjaw's men XD
I'll always admire him taking the time to read the notes and books, he's so literate, most people don't do that, I don't do that, but Cry, well dame, I can't help but listen to him read rather than just skipping it or something. Have no idea if you'll ever even see this and I know you hear it a lot, but thanks Cry, what you do means a lot, every small little thing...ZOOM!
I love you, Cry.
Who doesn't , it amazes me that he actually isn't that popular
Misaki Miyamoto He should be.
Olivia Wilson Well he is popular, almost all of pewdiepie's bros know who he is due to their co-op history. Just not that high of a sub. Count
Man, killing Slackjaw was like watching a movie twist. I love it!
YAY!!!!!!!! Cry I love these "Dishonored" videos, keep em up man!
At this point so many things have gone wrong that it's become more of a comedy series than a serious lets play. Cry, you sexy beast, you keep doing what you're doing. It's hilarious.
high chaos ending here we come baby
I can't believe you are just now on the Pendletons. I applaud you for fleshing this game out more than anyone I know...and then I saw you brutally murder SlackJaw...Damn...
29:00 bless you cry ^.^
Also, Cry could have just kinda made Slackjaw sleep with a dart instead of killing him.
So the weepers are like the zambies of this game then?
More like the Last of Us zambies
That are infected with a virus that takes control fo them
I know it's an old comment but whatever lol. they're not zombies, they're just very sick people.
The knives go on the right
Isn't that right, my love?
Damn Cry,you got fancy there on the ending. Moving the text to the music like that. Very fancy!
Cry you spoil us way too much lately. Much appreciated.
The ending was fun with all the zoom ins and such, and he music was fun too. Great episode man!
Music: DotEXE one minute Krewella (remix): Monstercat
NXSUniverse *Krewella - One Minute (DotEXE Dopest Dope Remix)
Gotta include Dopest Dope, it's so important!
10/10 Cry is the most pro player ever seen.
I'm pretty sure you can't collect the reward for Slackjaw since in most games wanted posters on the wall, or other papers on the wall, are just there for show and can't really interact with them, sorry man but you done goof'd :L
i always like your playthrough dude, but i'm a lil' sad that u kill Slack jaw man.Anyway, still like ur vids, keep up the good work
28:58 idk but that sneeze was adorable
Bless ya 29:00
Bless ya 29:02
Gesundheit or whateva.. you sneezed dude so there =)
I really do enjoy watching you play how a person new to the game really would play, trust me when I say you're doing just fine.
...That said, i'd classify a Cry controlled Corvo as a class 2 scope on a class 3 severity on the Apocalypse How meter, by the end of this, Dunwall is going to be short about 50% of it's population.
This is going to be an interesting playthrough.
Okay so I need to bring Slackjaw to city watch for the money. *Throws body into swarm of starving rats*
29:00 Cry you have provided fangirls with more adorable sneezes. Good job!
XD
Sorry, first hater comment, couldn't help laughing. Thanks!
D8 Granny, nooooooo!
Ah well, I guess I'll watch two playthroughs then.
Cry you are a master of off-hand comments. :) it makes you so damn entertaining. Good job man!
Bless you x2 Cry. :3
27:08 Fragile Dreams sound effect?! I don't know but it reminds me of when he played that game!
Cry, at least you reset the game and kill Slackjaw again so you can carry his body to Marty and gain 2000 gold XD
everyone like this so we can let cry have his money that he wanted
Samuel Lee
he deserves his reward xD
he does after he killed al those baddies
