Very interesting unit, hard to get your head around what it can do, This video is so very helpful. BTW. This was the only "analog" delay amazon would deliver next day and it had cool graphics so I bought it on a whim. Boy was I in for a surprise. It's a keeper for me.
Thanks! I think you did the right thing for sure, specially with the current prices, they're a steal! Also, the tape and analog settings are some of the best ever, regardless of the pedals you compare the Obscura with.
Not sure this could be considered "analog" by any stretch of the imagination ( despite the "analog" emulation designation) Took this out just put this on a board I wanted to experiment with a stereo power amp - hard to wrap my head around all the parameters - grateful that somebody jumped in and explained this cool pedal's functions
Thanks! You'll love this delay for sure, it's a keeper! We sure hope Digitech continues to create amazing units such as this. The last news regarding the company and its future sure suck. Can't wait to see what Tom Cram and the rest of the team will do in the future! Too bad we might never see the rest of the awesome designs Tom had come up with while he was working for Digitech...
Didn't realize they fired the whole team with Tom. Maybe he can turn it into a positive and someone will throw money at him to make something else great. I've been really enjoying the Polara and Obscura and how they play together.
Can't wait to hear what's next for him. With his talent, I'm sure great things are just around the corner. Those 2 really are a great combo! The fidelity and depth of the Polara still amazes me...
@@HelpingHandAlias Hi there! I know but I would love to see more from Digitech. I love that he's doing his thing but Digitech had so many great resources that, with his talents, they could keep making amazing, affordable effects. Also, the market is extremely saturated of drive pedals. Most of them are great so it's really hard to come up with original drives that justify the boutique price. My opinion, of course :)
Completely agree, amazing delays. Like you said, that and the fact that even connected in stereo, there is no stereo imaging at all, I can't fault this pedal in anything else!
That guitar work is sooo good!
Thank you Steven! Very glad you like it :D

Love this pedal. The only shame for me is i wish the reverse level was a wet/dry mix rather than simply wet volume.
