I did! I bought one for my boyfriend who's traveling to a new city for work. I liked the fact that its TSA friendly and anti-theft. He loves it! I like it so much I'm thinking of getting one for myself too! x D

I can't find my original comment/question so going to ask again: How does the interior Velcro hold up after all this time? I've noticed some anti-theft backpacks have a snap with the Velcro and I've had Velcro wear out very quickly before. I'm considering this backpack and want to know how well it's held up since 2017. Can you do a long-term/revisited review please?

Hi! Yeah, it definitely is. I normally carry my macbook and several heavy books for school. The padding on both the straps and the back gives a relatively good support for your back. I have noticed that the expandable straps sometimes slips and don't stay in the desired place, especially while running, trying to catch the bus. ;) Not that it really is a huge problem, but worth mentioning anyway.

So I had this backpack for about 6 months now and let me tell you something, never I repeat never buy the $30 cheap versions of this bag, I got this and a cheap bag and the cheap bag was lacking many features like extra pockets and padding and they will most likely come out to have a defect AND they rip in the like 1 week, it was actually kind of sad how fast that bag lasted but the real one is amazing, it has many great pockets so I can bring around to hold extra stuff and it won’t rip or tear for a LONG TIME, I’m telling you when you feel it, you already know it’s not going to rip and I also from time to time like to go in the forest and walk and this bag is water resistant and stays clean very nicely, even the white one that I own! I could honestly talk about this bag for ages but my fingers are tired of typing so overall, I give this bag a 9.5/10 - 0.5 for the price because it could be a bit pricy depending on where you buy it from but it’s amazing neither the less!

This is a lot better than XD Designs' Anti-Theft Backpack for having more zippers. I do get the point of having the zippers hidden but there are some items that still needs to be easy accessible like an umbrella. The OG XD Design Bobby Backpack has been my daily driver for years and it has always been my struggle of getting my umbrella from the main compartment when it suddenly starts raining.
Haha, love it man! have no experience with the XD backpack though, but I would totally agree with what you are saying - there are some things that are pretty well-made and thought of regarding this bag but it could also potentially be improved. Overall I think it is a great bag for a pretty okay price. I love the look of the XD bag slightly more though, hehe!
Great vid. Lil confised though. In your video it is showing the USB port bring on the inside of the flap on the side. On Vulcan's site and Amazon it is showing the usb port on the outside of the bag. Is there an updated version which has usb port no longer on the inside flap?

Can you explain more the usb port of the bag.. is it like a powerbank that you can charge it and then use it even if you travel anywhere?
+Art Morales Hi! Yeah, right. So the USB-port is only an output for you to charge any of your devices through a USB cable. Through the inside of the bag you connect a power bank (of your own choice - it is not included with the bag). So the "electronic part", integrated in the bag, is only the "bridge" between your powerbank and the device you charge. Hope my explanation is clear enough! Im so lucky that i bought one of this type of bag of this model from mark ryden yesterday at the second hand store here in Korea. .. its just good as new... i am really not familiar with this brand but i can see that its durable and very useful by its features. .. i decided to Google it and wow its really so cool and the ratings and reviews was awesome. hey) thanks a lot, BUT you didn't say anything about how your back feels when you carry something heavy.
Tatiana Shymel zdrastvojti! The bag is very comfortable while carrying something heavy, especially because of the high quality padding, both on the back as well as the inner section of the straps.
The only backside that I have been aware of, is that the contractable and expandable straps are made of a slightly slippery material. If you are carrying something heavy the straps will expand after a while.

Saltass Sky I am not too sure about that one. First of all, I do not own the BeatsX, which makes it a bit hard for me to answer your question. I can at least tell you that I am able to fit my earbuds that don’t have any bluetooth connection. But at said, those pockets are mainly for cards. Hope this helped you a little bit...

Sahaj Khan Hi! I wish I knew and could answer that question, but unfortunately I haven’t even seen the Bobby backpack in reality. My advice to you is to look for reviews of the Bobby backpack and compare it to the Mark Ryden backpack.

from what i can tell, the Bobby backpack costs almost twice as much and doesn't have any pockets on the outside like the Ryden. I'm not sure who copied who though in regards to overall design.

Thank you for commenting. The laptop compartment is supposed to hold a laptop of a maximum size of 15.6”. Therefore I am a bit skeptical to the fact that you can fit the Legion in there. I do want to believe there are other Vulcan Bags that fit a 17” laptop.
And to answer your second question - Yeah definitely. I don’t see any problems with the backpack size relative to your height, as I am about the same as you.

2 things I don't get about this or the Bobby backpack.
1. Laptop pocket is not directly against my back. 'exposing' the laptop to any outside hit.
2. No option for usb-c kind of charger forces me to use an adapter cable.
The rest of the backpack is really nice, including the looks of it which is much more elegant than regular backpacks. Nice review!!!

No, there is no option for USB C.

No I actually tried on my own bag, but I was not able to identify a scratch. I mean if you would apply a good amount of pressure it definetely could scratch the front material. I do have some scratches but there are good resons for that - haven’t been too kind to it xD.

Hi I am looking for the crossbody bag of Mark Ryden but Vulcanbags doesn't have it on their website, when I googled Mark Ryden, an artist comes up, not a bag designer or an official website of these so called Mark Ryden bags.
I came upon "myantitheftbackpack" website and it sells the crossbody bag but the reviews there looked so fake, posted on the same date and I asked a question a long time ago, still there is no response.
The crossbody bag sells way cheaper on Lazada around half the price but that place is full of quality imitations, I'd prefer the original but I wouldn't mind a quality imitation, would you be so kind to help a bro out?

I am not sure which model of Vulcan Bags crossbody backpack you actually want, but I suppose you want the one from the Mark Ryden collection. Therefore I recommend you to check the bag out on AliExpress, where I actually have gotten one myself. Here’s the link to one of their many crossbody bags;

People looking at this bag already know it does all the things you point out. were you paid by the company? when people research items like this, they want to know what's wrong with it, even if it's minuscule. does the stitching on the pleather come apart after long-term use? is the usb charging usable after a mild rain? does the fabric feel luxurious, or like garbage styrofoam? come on... I took more time typing this than you did on your shitty "this is what it does" video. it's not a review. This (what i'm typing) is a review on how this video is not a review.
