Unfortunately it is like most bags on the market, with virtually no padding on the very bottom, I have placed an inch thick foam on the bottom to combat that.
Im Sorry to say, but you definvetly have the 17" Version. 100% sure. I just got the 15.6" Version as you claimed you have. i have the exact same laptop that you mentioned, the same model. it doesnt fit at all. i have a 16" HP Victus as private Laptop. Even that barely fits, so tight that im scared it might hurt the laptop. my brothers 15.6" ell Laptop fits perfect but there is no way it slips like yours. you have 100% sure the 17" Version.
i have the same MSI 17" laptop. The mark ryden reseller said it would not fit in the 15.6" backpack. i showed them your video (thx for the review) they said you must habe 17" version but mistaked them. can you please tell me?

How's the padding, if any specifically at the bottom? Does it have decent protection for the laptop if you drop the bag?
