    What would happen if you stick a normal cable instead of your special jumper cable? Would it simply just not work or would it damage the device?

      Then the device will not turn on. The long-range PoE switch uses 4-pair PoE technology, while TP-Link EAP225 can only work with 802.3af or 24V passive PoE, which causes compatibility issues. For more information, please see this video 👉ruclips.net/video/mUWJ_lbMt8U/видео.html

    speed/bandwidth vs distance data table? did you test it?

    I want to attach a total of 3 eap225 outdoors. I know I won’t be close to 500m but maybe I should go down to 2 eap’s? The other thing, how do I connect #2 and or #3 to #1?

      We have developed an 8-port long-range PoE+ switch that has 4 long-range PoE ports (ports #1-4). www.fastcabling.com/product/800m-8-port-long-range-poe-switch/
      The TP-Link EAP225 supports Mesh networking. You can set the EAP #1 as the main AP. Connect it directly to your network (router or switch) using an Ethernet cable. Then place EAP #2 and EAP #3 at strategic locations where they can maintain a strong connection to EAP #1. They will wirelessly connect to EAP #1 and relay the signal to cover a larger area.

    I have a similar problem with eap 225 outdoor but they aren’t 500 meters apart, only 50m apart but they keep disconnecting. How do I fix that?

      If the EAP225 units are too close and transmit power is set too high, they may be oversaturating the signal.

    Thank you madam one video share that how we can combine two ADSL line in device to make speed double

    • @Fastcabling
      @Fastcabling  Месяц назад

      Combining two ADSL lines to double your speed is a bit tricky because ADSL itself doesn’t support native bonding of multiple lines for increased bandwidth. However, you can achieve a similar effect using a technology called Multi-link PPP (MLPPP) or by employing Load Balancing techniques.

    It is good but the problem is the speed of the long range poe switch. It is only 100mbps while eap225 is a gigabit port.

      You can use the 300M Gigabit PoE extender kit which can transmit data up to 300 meters while maintaining a high speed of 1Gbps.

    wokrs but you only get 10mbps of speed

      The long-range PoE+ switch can support a speed of 100Mbps over a distance of 500 meters (a POE extender must be added). If you're looking for higher speeds, you can use the Gigabit PoE extenders instead. ruclips.net/video/j3yRf0Chjvg/видео.html
