Thanks! That was great to know. When editing this video, I was a little worried for the length but I also didn’t want to speed up too much. Great to hear that the speed was great for you and hopefully for everyone too.
About 2 weeks ago I machine quilted my quilt. I hadn't done this in quite awhile and forgot the general guidelines. Well, I stressed my shoulders and my back dislocated. I'm keeping your video as a reminder before I quilt another. Keep the videos coming.👍😊
I just love the spread of your videos. I’m not wasting my time with silly comments. You are adorable and talented. I also have a Janome. I love your videos! Leonora
very helpful for a new quilter like myself. One suggestion: I would be able to see more clearly what the pattern is if you used a different thread color.
Thank you Janelle.. in the free course I use a contrasting colours. To teach free motion quilting patterns, I do use contrasting colours.. so maybe next time I’ll do more tutorials on how to do the patterns. but for real quilts, I rarely do use contrasting colours as I like the quilting to be more subtle. Thank you for your suggestions! ❤️
Hello Amira, thank you for posting your video, it really helps to see the quilting in real time. I am trying to gain confidence to do my own quilting. The tip that you gave that helped me is that you start in the middle, and go by quadrant. Very smart.
I've been fmq for awhile and it's my favorite part of making a quilt. I still look for tutorials because there is always something I can learn from other quilters. Your tutorial was excellent and I learned some new things!!! Your quilt is very, very pretty and happy!! Thank you for taking the time to share the things you have learned from quilting. ❤
I like this ribbon quilt, and I saw the free pattern of it on your blog. Thank you so much for the demonstration. I've been practicing FMQ with your Bootcamp, an excellent value!
Thank you for your tutorial. Perhaps I will start free motion sewing soon. You have given me some good tips
Thank you Amira!!! Very clear video!
My pleasure. 🥰
It is a pleasure to see your videos. You are an excellent instructor. I realized something I could improve. Thank you.
Thank you Liz! You’re the best at supporting me and my journey 🥰
I love the speed of your videos!

My pleasure! You will surely get there, practice and take your time. Thank you for dropping a comment! ❤️
You are so precise and steady--I could watch this for hours and be so jealous!
If I can do it, you can too Jan ❤️. Just keep on quilting, you’ll get there with time and practice

Awesome! Your work is amazing Lexi! I love seeing your progress on the FB group. You’ll be quilting quilts in no time soon.
you don't hide a knot when you start a new bobbin?
No I don’t. I just do some reverse stitches (overlap the first fe stitches) and trim the tail close to the quilt
What is the largest quilt you have done on domestic?
King size. 108” square. You can also find a video on my channel 12 tips to quilt a king size quilt on doemstic machine.
