Same. I mean, I like living now, but I would have offed myself a long time ago if I truly didn’t think there would be consequences for doing it. Now I’m blessed enough that I no longer have the desire.
Try listening to a song called “I will struggle” by Outline In Color. It’s my favorite song (it is metal btw)
Good choice making her the first free character, the surprise of getting a song with new characters and this song choice makes a good impact on the first few minutes of the game
Why when I got to chapter 3 the stages doesn't seem to have story or is it only me?

"A day shadow" doesn't make sense. Listening to the audio, it sounds more like "A dark shadow." I think the lyrics from the video can't be 100% trusted ironically
She sings it very fast so whenever she says “A dark shadow” I hear “I talk shit all”

The scene of Her laying on her sword as she talks cant leave my mind.
Iris' song always played whenever I went to the shop. I didn't realize songs were tied to characters so I thought Ilya's song was the main game song and Iris' song was the shop theme. I only realized when I stopped to listen to the "shop music" and it played the next song rather than looping.

Sometimes, feel like it'll never be better, but anything is better than dead, when you are at an emotional rock bottom, there is only one way and it's up unless you count dying as an option which my best advice is don't because when you do nothing will come from it, I'm still deep in depression, for christ sake I legit had a mental breakdown yesterday, but what is left to do? than to degenerate and die or move forward. We'll all make it, but me being cynical It isn't true, hell I think might never make it out of despair, but I hope you do, may not worth much saying this to a stranger but, making others motivated and try to be happy has been the only source of true happiness for me now, so please, do it for a stranger in the net, know peace from all the grieving and emotional numbness because I haven't, but it'll make me feel better if I can help others to, maybe It's the only way now honestly, I've contemplated death and have tried coming close to it many times, it'll be all for nothing to die.

The jp version is by far the superior version of this song. I was giving this one a chance then the auto tune kicked in and dam, she needed it. Jp actually embarrasses the English by a hot mile.

It's kinda debatable. While the gameplay is less memorable, what makes MementoMori stand out is the watercolor art style, all characters gets their own unique theme that's related to their past and struggles, and countries even have some sort of backstory. However, when I played this game when it was released I was genuinely surprised to see cutscenes during the Dutch of Fran which got me hooked but right after finishing the first country... the story was left there which left me feel dumbfounded and was like "Wait, that's it?"
The other problem is the monetization quickly reminded me of AFK Arena's which was a bad sign might I add. The VIP, getting rewards for achieving certain things if you payed that pack, etc.
A part of me thinks the developers should've made a different style of gameplay instead of being an Idle game.
