I love my truck camper, it's simple, has everything in it including a full queen, and cost me $400 from Craigslist. Our family uses it all the time for camping, and it's so much more versatile than pulling even the most "off road" camper. :-)
The days of a $400 slide in truck camper that has no leaks and no rotting and everything works....are long gone. I can't even find a truck cap for $400 in my area.
Love 4 Wheel Campers
Great job showcasing all the models
I always enjoy your videos. You do a great job showcasing everything
Thanks for watching
Froli TRAVEL Bed Kits available for beds. Seems this would be a great addition for the beds to allow air circulation under mattress.
Nicely done. Thanks for the tour!
Thanks for watching.
These are nice but still like the offering from Alaskan Campers with all the above storage cabinets attached to the hard side.
They make a great camper too. If I lived in the pacific northwest where its rains a lot I would probably lean more towards a hard side camper. These are awesome for Nevada though! Plenty of people do use these in the cold believe it or not. They have an arctic pack upgrade.
I have a Fleet camper on my chev Colorado. Taken it on some great backcountry adventure. Agree that you have to be agile to climb in and out. If you get into the Apollo 13 space capsule or the cabin on a small sailboat you should be ok. Get the insulation package for warm and sound deadening.
SO much info here. Great video!
Thanks for the video. Sweet campers plus you could tow a boat, kayak trailer, other toys behind your rig.
That's what I like about the direction FWC has gone. You can now buy a project m camper with nothing inside or you can get a top tier camper with a toilet and shower inside....and everything custom in between.
I would love for these guys to make a rooftop tent using their pop up camper knowledge.
I’m looking at purchasing the Raven model for my 2019 Ram 1500 Crew Cab, shortbed. The Raven, as you said in the video is small, because they’re meant for full size trucks with a 5 and 1/2 foot bed. I love that there’s an option to turn the Queen cabover bed into a King size with the pullout. Still a little heavy for a half-ton payload. Heavy but doable. Might go for the Project M because of the weight factor and complete my own build. Hmm…Decisions…
I want to buy one but am definitely not gonna wait 1+ years to have it built. Such a bummer.
I need to go there. Didn’t know that you can go in and look at the models. I don’t live to far from Four Wheel Campers. Thank you for the video
Its a fun place to look around...and even more fun to buy Im sure lol
Always enjoy your videos 👍
Thanks for watching
Awesome video. You have an awesome family! You are a lucky guy. And you now have a new subscriber! Thanks again for the very informative video 👍.
Thanks for watching
excellent tour! well done!
Thanks for watching
Kuya...i work n woodland...lover ur vids...peace...
Thanks for watching kuya
Another great video, thank you
Thanks for watching.
Love their products. But the prices are tough
It seems to be in line with other aluminum built trailers like airstream.
Capri campers are half the price but they are framed in wood.
Thanks for doing a review
Thanks for watching.
Looks like the Raven and the Swift are so similar.
Wow I love this setup. Woodland is just 45 mins away and will need to stop by and check all the models. Maybe do rental first before dropping some serious bucks. Salamat for the tour.
Thanks for watching
Nice work Flipster!!

@@justincase7661 I will try.
@@mixflip I've subscribed to your channel! Guns, Trux, camping, travel & so much more!! Nice work Bro!!!
Great videos, love your channel!
Thanks for watching
How come they don't make an extended version ?
For an 8 foot bed plus the tailgate and drop-down about 10 feet like the "Lance 975"?
I dont know? I wish they did as well.
Very good info. Thanks!
Thanks for watching
Thanks brudda. Was looking for the empty shell for the 8ft size bed with perhaps display of an option or two like the two-burner stove with solar option. Appreciate the tour. *Aloha from Texas.
Thanks for watching
Bro yo tengo un Ford bronco 85 y no sé dónde conseguir un camper vivo en Guadalajara Jalisco México y tengo mucho siguiendote ojalá y me puedas alludar me gusta mucho todo lo que conoses del camping saludos hermanó
1:35 Yellowstone does have some restricted camping areas for soft sided campers due to bear activity. During your visit did this get mentioned? Are these viewed as a hardsided or softsided rigs?
I want the answer to this as we’ll.
I saw zero signs of hard side campers when we were there. No one we talked to ever mentioned it either.
There is also storage under the bed of the flatbed models.
I forgot to show that!!!
Why would anyone want to spent $6 - 8K on premium RRT when you can get dining, kitchen and a queen size bed already build in for a little bit more?
The Raven is what I want for my Tacoma and thank you for the tour.
I guess its all about personal tastes and budget.
Do users have any DIY cooling mods? Can you adapt a small window AC at all?
Very Nice
Thanks for watching
Wouldn’t the indoor shower create a lot of moisture and condensation for the camper? I hope the fan is strong enough to pull all that out
probably depends on the weather and location? Its pretty dry and arid in my state.
THEY R SWEET 💞 BUT THERE IS A BIGGER CAMPERS THAT WILL FIT SOME 6 1/2 BUT I THINK U MAY NEED DURL AXIES UP TO 8' OR 10' FLAT BEDS ON PICKUP TRUCKS SORRY I CAN'T REMEMBER THE THE NAME FOR THE LIFE OF ME RIGHT NOW JUST WOKE UP LOL
Love the product but price tho? Why?
I’m sure the price isn’t arbitrary. It’s a quality product with a lot of labor and hand fitting work, all done on a small scale. Too bad Henry Ford isn’t building them. It’s a niche market too. If you’re an off the grid, rugged adventurous type and this is the only thing that fits, you’ll dig deep for the coin. The only thing these offer to me personally is the low profile travel. I’m an older guy though and need more comfort and amenities, so for the same money I’d find a slightly depreciated Lance and just deal with the travel height.
Part of it is the welded aluminum frame, versus a 2x2 pine frame that is in other campers....The price is hard to swallow, I know. I guess I will keep rocking my Shadow Cruiser popup truck camper....780 pounds and I picked it up for less than a grand......
Thx for this video :) all price showed is canadian or us dollar ? And you know if there are some dealers in europe ?
i wish I had an answer for you. I would email them for accurate info.
I gotta ask, they give you a discount for renting their vehicle and using it on your uploads? Cool series Battle.
Also, do they allow dog(s) if you rent one? NM, I'll check their website and try to find one down South (S. OC) where I'm at.
FWC has a new dealer in Rancho Cucamonga I believe? They opened late last year. I was supposed to film the grand opening but I didn't have the time off from work.
As for the truck/camper rental....Its a symbiotic relationship lol. I help them - they help me but I don't abuse the kindness.
@@mixflip I try to stay out of the 'inbred Empire (San Bernardino/Riverside Counties).' Just kidding, worth a look... I want to go on a small trip with my dad, Spring next year, he'll be 77 March, still as strong as a 40 year old, as he says Haha. .. No women allowed trip. My brother in law and younger brother and Pop... Maybe up to Tulare (Sequoia National Park).
@@on2wheels378 😆 inbred empire!
@@mixflip That's we call the place here in the Southern Half if the People's Republic.
They're the reason you can't drink beer or wine at a state beach or have a firepit going all night instead closing it up at 10pm etc...
Theyr'e the people who leave loaded diapers on the pavement in the state beach parking lots etc... YEh, Inbred Empire.
How much is it for a Hawk and flat bed combo? Thanks and great review.
I don't really know. Im sure you can find into on their website though. I think they have a build app.
wait time is too long...aquire more land and build more factories...
Any dealer in Vancouver, BC, Canada
I would email them to get accurate info. Thanks for watching
So watch is your 🤔🇺🇸👍👍
Thank you
$24,000!!!, that's ridicules for a mini pop up , Worth more than my 4 year old Tacoma.
Most off road rugged built campers are expensive due to the build quality vs plywood, staples and glue campers.
So when you buying one?
Its on the list. My wife wants a comfortable shower so we will be buying a travel trailer. Probably a 20ft bunkhouse model.
@@mixflip same here man my wife gets all tore up about shower and toilet... we been looking at Lance travel trailers - 2145 and 2445 and Grand Design bunk houses.
Thought about big Lance truck campers but would need a 1ton truck.
how many kids do you have ? if 4 do you feel comfy with 4 people inside ? even like simple eating inside
I have 3 kids and a wife. We squeezed in for our trip and it was a tight fit. We were warm and safe and that was all that mattered for this trip.
The only time it was a problem was when someone had to pee or poo but if you were tent camping it would be basically the same hassle. The perk was the heater and being safe and close.
These aren't made for a family of 5 and they don't claim to be. I just did it to prove it could be done. We had fun because the kids are small. Any bigger and it would have caused some drama lol.
@@mixflip thanks yes i hear you . I got truck with 6.6 feet bed, topper and iKamper, as I have not find any better solution vs price . Spent about 10 K well I got water tank from frontrunner , Trail Kitchen with T table, drawer system from Decked . it's definitely not a camper but works well, well it's more camping and "RVing ". Another one I'm still looking is an AT Habitat. It's looked cool but more pricy than my current set ups.
@@phlfly10 I've heard some people say they prefer the AT habitat style of truck tent/camper because you can access everything from inside vs being on top then exiting the side just to get inside the truck bed and its contents. The guys at field craft survival are former special forces so they look at it from a mobility and security aspect even though its just for camping. I do like the concept though. If I had the money I'd love an AT habitat.
@@mixflip yes it's pricy . I think toward more when kids out and getting close older is 3 more school years and younger is 5 . So it's not far from now . The bed truck campers are nice but bulky as seems to me well its weight on truck bed . Really best to use on HD series trucks if you are expect some crawling off road not rock crawling. Although I like idea of platform instead trucks bed. But than it looks like RV less just truck with canopy .
Do you know if they make one for the jeep gladiator yet?
I do not. I should have asked them when I was there.
@@mixflip no worries sir.
Thank you for replying.
Will definitely be subscribing to channel as a thank you.
Just get the measurements for the Gladiator (bed length, width between the wheel wells etc.), and cross-reference these measurements. I know they can fit in a Defender 130, which also has a small bed - but only the smaller models due to the wheel well measurement. If it hangs off the back a little, I think that's fine; just aesthetics. I was doing some searching for someone to have posted a pic of one on a Gladiator somewhere, but haven't found one yet.
Thank you for the model tours and including the price! Did not know these were available for rent.
MOVE NOT MORE LOL
Awesome channel! Have a look at our page and sub if you enjoy it
Hey hey I love Madison campground. We would make dinner at camp and then take it to the river and eat and drink and hang out as the sun sets. One of the most pretty river bend views ever good times.
Thanks for watching
ALL TOO SMALL AND U ARE A SMALL GUY YOUR SELF SOO IT SEEMS TO BE MORE ROOM BUT NOO ...I AM 6'1" BIG BOY I COULDN'T EVEN MORE IN IT AT ALL N I DON'T THINK IT WOULD EVEN HOLD ME ON THE BED 🛌 PLUS WITH ALL THAT FUNDS WHERE IS THE JON ???
Their campers are built to be light, strong, reliable and not be cumbersome off road. It all depends on what your needs are basically. I've seen some really big dudes in these though! The cool thing these days, is there's so many camper builders out there, it's not too hard to find one that suits your individual needs.
Dug it
Thanks for watching
Is it me or does this guy look like a younger Mali Mish?
Lol....you should tell him he looks like an older Mixflip.
@@mixflip Good call. Great videos by the way.
