11:02, western people might think that we Russians are rude, but we are just straight and they were trying to warn the Italian guy because of his safety, and as he insisted on crossing and asking, that's why they looked like upset, and maybe they thought "this person it's out of his mind or he is stupid".

If we ever spend enough time together, we will just realize that we are the same, trying to live and enjoy life just as everyone else. Let the politicians talk about politics. When i travelled on the trans siberian i stayed drunk so i was on the same level as the other passengers. In 3 days i must have met around 30 different people and half of them were absolutely steaming drunk on vodka. If you are sober it can be an unbearable and intimidating experience especially in 3rd class, but sometimes you are lucky and speak to a friendly drunk and have a laugh for a few hours. Like 18:20 restaurant cart are the best experiences when you find a group that are friendly and curious and don't cause hassle. I would recommend nothing but 1st class travel if you enjoy privacy and absolutely 1st class if you cannot speak russian, otherwise you will have a hard time and you'll be screaming to depart the train.

I love your journey to the Far East. By the way, the Heihe pronunciation is different from what the spelling suggests. It should be pronounced as "Heyher" - as in hey (not hi) and her. It is a transliteration from Chinese word meaning black river.

19:30 so sad to hear the man is from Donetsk and knowing that his hometown is just decimated. I hope he is doing alright and that peace talks can soon begin between Russia and Ukraine. Brothers needn't fight brothers.

I enjoyed the video. But the first city looked to have nice buildings, that I could see in the background. Would have been nice to see more of that citie's architecture.

Молодец, molto bene Davide. I am thoroughly enjoying your trip to the Russian Far East. Any chance that you could do some videos in Italian? Interested to hear you discuss the connection between Italians and Russia.

Where you are standing was part of China around a century ago, when it was Qing Dynasty in China. In the year 1900 the Russian Empire launched a ruthless massacre against thousands of Chinese residents in Hailanpao, known as Blagoveshchensk in Russian.

The winter of 海蘭泡 (Blagoveshchensk) is not that harsh. My hometown is about 700km southern of this city ant the average climate of my hometown is about 7 to 8 degrees celsius warmer in winter than that of this city, and you could also find people jogging.

I haven't a word of Russian... but it got you out of a tight spot when you were thinking of crossing the border into China. You could have been shot on the spot. Here in Ireland, we'd call you a chancer. If you really thought things through, you'd probably adopted a different approach. Being a foot passenger at minus 26 degrees celsius is not that wise. But when I was your age, I walked into Germany from Holland in the dead of night, and was surprised there were no border guards to check my passport. So I was a chancer, just like you. Please visit Ireland sometime. You'd love West Cork, Kerry and Donegal ! Best wishes.
