About your workspace, I have a similar problem. I am in an old house with poor lighting and had no options. So I bought a floor lamp that sits beside my desk. It is shorter than a regular floor lamp in that it gives light at the level that a desk lamp would give, but does not take up desk space, which is a big plus. The lamp has three different types of light which can also be adjusted in terms of intensity. The head of the lamp can be turned to direct light exactly where you need it. And it is nice having a stand-alone lamp that can be easily moved.
It's called the "Brightech Litespan LED 2nd Edition Reading Floor Lamp." Just a suggestion for you to consider as you weigh your options. I got mine from Amazon and love it so much that I am thinking about getting a second one.

That is so awesome that your mom was able to move down close to you! By the way, can't help and make mental notes on the local restaurants that are around here. My mother just recently had to change her diet due to a major change in her life. It's very encouraging to see the variety of dishes you make as well. I hope to help her out as much as I can.

Yay! For mama Dray! Such an amazing way to celebrate Valentines day with your mom. We were festive at the office and had a pool of dark chocolate to dip fruit in (it was supposed to be a fountain circa early 2000's but we had some technical difficulties -overall still awesome in my opinion). Thanks for the self love take away and the reassurance that its okay to get help when you need it. I know I sometimes struggle with that realization as well. As always, thanks for sharing!

I don't know if you are in a condo or rent, but my landlord changed my light fixture in like 10 minutes into one I liked. You can either check with an electrician or your landlord.. Have a great day. I wish my mom lived nearby too, my kids don't see much of their grandparents because of our distance - you're so lucky! Hubby got a box of nuts & chews from See's candy - I'll have to ration it among the four of us to make sure our 2 boys don't go into sugar shock :)

Question: What is your opinion on the preservative, methylisothiazolinone? I guess, in the 70's, they decided not to add it to 'leave on' products. I noticed, CeraVe has it in their sunscreen for face. Would it be better not to use it if you have sensitive skin? The CeraVe sunscreen for babies doesn't have that ingredient. Thanks!
Thank you Clara! Great question! MCI is a preservative that lots of folks are developing allergic contact dermatitis too, particularly when left on the skin (frequently found in wet wipes for example). It is only a problem if you have developed a sensitivity to it, it is not deadly per se. If you have sensitive skin, it would probably be prudent to avoid it, though. HOpe this helps!

I have never used arbonne. The earrings are the same maker as the necklace and i bought them here in a store in houston.
