Oh my Lord, I’m really sorry about your Mom, I’ve already prayed for her. My Mother-In-Law suffered a stroke a few weeks ago, but she’s doing better now, it wasn’t too severe. I myself, had 3 strokes in 3 different parts of my brain on Super Bowl Sunday 2024. When I woke up Monday, I had no control of my left hand, went to the bathroom, fell and busted my eye open on the porcelain toilet tank. Rushed to the hospital Monday morning, released Tuesday evening. Had to do a show 2 weeks after, (Smooth Jazz keyboardist), I got through it, but it was very difficult. I couldn’t even play a c scale with my left hand. I just worked hard on the songs I needed to play. Had to relearn how to button a shirt, zip a jacket, tie a knot in my shoes or sweatpants. Simple things like bathing or putting on gloves or a seatbelt was quite a challenge. I’m back to about 80% functionality right now. Changed my diet considerably and it’s already making a difference. I wish us all peace and Blessings my brother. 🙏🏽🎹♥️

My wife was like baby its ok do your video *smiles* i appreciate her for that because it did help me not stay in a funk about the circumstances around me. I did come here to say something to that effect: the gnarly ambiences and distorted basses and drums are probably a result of an environment where industrial music is more ubiquitous (Neubauten being on German TV, Blixa appearing on cooking shows etc) That said, I think Industrial music sounds have already had an influence on some hiphop and vice versa. Plus one of the biggest influences on industrial music is the sounds of urban machinery, and that affected hiphop too. The line from hiphop to funk to soul is undisputed, and Berry Gordy Jr wrote songs to the beat of the machines in the factories. TL:DR everyone's a little bit industrial :)

The mic you're using is going to pick up everything you don't want it to. And there's a balance that you have to find, in the Goldilocks zone.
