You are one of the best board game channels at RUclips! Your content is so structured, coherent and solid. I can tell how much thought and effort you put in your vids. Thanks so much! Wish you do a buyer's guide for CLANK someday 😅🙏🏻
@BoardOfItReviews well then, let me take this opportunity to recommend 😅. I too like euros and heavy games such as brass and scythe, but was blown away by quick and engaging gameplay of clank! You both might like it too. 😊
Nice review. FYI - I noticed some of your stamps were placed upside down or sideways in your albums. The rules state: “Stamps must be placed upright with their value or cancellation mark displayed at the top right.”
Really appreciate hearing your contrasting opinions, bouncing back and forth between each other. Very helpful in learning how a game might feel for yourself, depending on the kind of person you are, etc. And it gives the critique in the review a more nuanced, in-depth feel. Thanks again you two! One suggestion: Farrell, you said you’d rather play other games - as helpful as that is to hear, it would be more helpful to offer specific suggestions. Like what you’d rather play, games that do “these things” better, etc. I’d love to hear that kind of stuff in every review honestly, to compare/contrast between different games.
Thanks! You're completely right about other games, I knew this comment would come up! I think it was a combination of I didn't have anything prepared when I said it, but also that the "filler" games I'd rather play are really not similar to Stamp Swap mechanically so I didn't want to recommend something nothing like it. Will take this under more consideration in future!
@@BoardOfItReviewsAwesome thanks! And personally, I wouldn’t worry too much about not having suggestions similar enough. I think deep down we all know that we have limited time in life - it’s just a matter of how you wanna spend it - so I feel like that gives you permission to say or suggest whatever the heck you want haha!
Thanks for the helpful review! Farrell, I was surprised to see you in a BC Lions jersey! My hometown team. Hoping they can turn things around for the playoffs.
Definitely the last thing I expected to see. Also my hometown team. Don't follow the CFL, but best of luck to the Lions this season. Hope you weren't here for the very rainy last week of August and you enjoyed your Vancouver visit!
Nice length review. Farrell, the forever stamps become highly competitive at higher counts. It’s 10 points for first place. And if you’re playing with a final show goal like 1x1 holes, they are crucial. I got 55 points today for that goal plus 10 for having the most forever stamps. That said, I had the same impression about the box. As to Tallie, you’re spot on about everything. Keep playing. I even really like the solo mode!
Thanks for giving it a play and posting the video.

Wow, that is really high praise, thank you so much. Hahaha never say never, but we'd have to play clank first...

There is a specialist card which breaks this rule ;)

It's such a comfy jersey! We went to see a game in the summer and had to grab the merch.

Thanks! Appreciate you sharing your thoughts on the forever stamps for others :)
Are they real world stamps in the artwork? Seems a shame if not. Could have incorporated a bit of stamp collecting history. Copyright issues perhaps?
No, they aren't real world stamps. I would think you're right, there would be a big copyright issue but you make a good point.
They are not real world stamps. But the stamp artwork is beautiful, and I like the different themes.
