Thank you for this video. I'm going to cosmetology school in October, but I still worry about what others think about me not going to college. To be honest with you, I think it's a scam in most cases.
Plus, my first love is being a homemaker and family will always come before career for me. So I really love the flexibility of this industry (and I mean REAL flexibility, not just "they let me work night shift" flexibility 😋lol)
Anyways, it's nice to see an intelligent woman doing what I want to do. I'm feeling way more confident now. 💕

legit a junior at my highschool did my hair and as a transman it’s sometimes hard for me to actually like a hair style plus they were student just like me a junior did my hair and like I was in shock definitely hope whatever career they choose to do in the hair industry they will absolutely go far in it but it definitely changed me and made me feel hella confident I will always respect her fr fr

Hey love. To be honest I've been doing this a couple of years and I'm still working on having a full clientele. My client list is growing tremendously however it takes time and there is no secret formula!! Trust me I know how you feel and just stay focused and hang on. I have a video coming out soon about that.
That's exactly why I created my channel to share my journey because you don't normally see stylists that share the journey as they go through it, you only see the success story!

Hello, I currently have my own salon I specialize in haircutting only but I’m interested in opening more of a spa type business in the very near future where I would offer facials, V steaming and foot soaks but before I do too much planning I’m trying to make sure that the state won’t try to stop me from doing V steaming. I do know that V steaming isn’t regulated by the law and I can get certified online but I’m confused on how to combine facials because those are regulated by the law and I’m trying to figure out if I licensed the establishment as a cosmetology establishment if they would shut me down if they catch me offering V steam‘s! Or take my cosmetology license? I have asked several professionals about this and they tell me that I’ll be OK but I’m trying to get multiple opinions so if you could help me out I’d greatly appreciate it!
I honestly don’t know the answer to this because that wasn’t my area of study. I would recommend that you contact you board of cosmetology and get the answers directly through them so you will be sure you’re operating legally and won’t have any problems in the future 💕

Yes please do!! It had it's ups and downs not going to lie. I'm glad I did it wish it went a little smoother when I was there. However it may run a lot better now. Just set up and tour get a feel for it. Don't just settle either. Look at other options.!
