I can’t decide my favorite part. It was all so cool. His veiny heart shot at the beginning, his close-ups, his insane attacks, it’s all so cinematic and amazing. You didn’t have to do this, but I couldn’t be happier that you did. You did an amazing job at capturing the panic and horror of Flowey’s fight, while still making it fit Spamton’s character.

Honestly, I was expecting a little more impact on it. But it was a excellent fight nevertheless.
My favorite part is when Kris gained determination when he didn't have his [heart shaped object]
Kris apparently shaking at the end because he’s moving despite his wounds, but then reveals it’s because of (what I like to call) his maniac mode controlling him.
I like the detail how of Susie, Ralsei and Noelle are all huddled together, they make a heart shape.
Very clever.

Y’know if it were possible to canonically lose, we probably could have been controlling spamton as a playable character if he took Kris’s soul
I think it would be perhaps slightly more disturbing if that were impossible. This is all just a game and we the player know this. We could force Spamton to lose because we control the soul. So in essence, this battle only exists for our entertainment. We are playing against ourselves, so to speak. We are playing with the lives of Kris and a poor salesman desperately yearning for freedom.
@@venus1333 i like to imagine that omega spamton is like an alternative snowgrave route ending. And to achieve it, you need to provoke spamton in every way, then get to the NEO fight at the end. During the ending, when spamton is about to be frozen by noelle, he realizes this and quickly kills kris (or more so separates the soul from kris) and absorbs it before Noelle can kill him. However, this then allows us to play both spamton, and see what he sees, and how helpless he is in the situation, despite being near godlike.
Edit: Now that I think about it, might be like the player trying to destroy kris.

I love how Kris finishes the fight off despite having no [Heart shaped object], it makes perfect sense because they remove it on purpose on several occasions and are still able to function, so why should this be any different? Great visual storytelling!

actually they aren’t able to function as normally as you think, they’re mentally and on the outside look normal, however they literally are walking like a zombie and trying to do normal stuff, kris cannot handle being without it and would pretty much end up like spamton soon after.

I suppose the connection with Spamton being severed thing is probably the real answer, though at a point in the video the soul was moving around in that screen-thing.

I love this, even just on a conceptual level, because of the way deltarune works we'd be playing from Spamtons perspective, or at least his side, which could be fascinating as we do everything in our power to stop him from killing our friends.
It’d be incredibly ironic if you think about it:
Spamton, an expy of a computer virus, would be getting sabotaged by us, or in other words, we’d be hacking something meant to hack others.
How the fight might go:
We would not have any control over how Susie, Ralsei and Noelle move, but we would have a minor amount of control over Spamton himself. We would be able to force him to use easier to dodge attacks, or attacks that will miss where the trio are at the moment. We may even be able to sabotage some of the attacks so that they instead become healing projectiles. You need to act quickly and choose an attack before he does, however, as he’s much more likely to choose more effective and accurate attacks. You may even be able to give slight commands to Susie Ralsei and Noelle, like commanding Ralsei to use a healing prayer, or Noelle to use her potent ice magic, or Susie to use a rude buster. You’d be basically vying for power with Spamton in order to keep the crew safe, until they can either take Spamton down, or survive long enough for Kris to be able to get up and finish the job.
That wasnt you dealing the final blow.
It was Kris.
I imagine this fight would be like the final fight in Bowsers inside story, where you have Suise, Noelle and Ralsei fighting outside against spamton, and Kris’s soul fighting inside of him (maybe against his heart?)

@@mrfandangos.4394 The soul doesn’t hold Kris back per say the soul is technically kris’s personality and every thing about them in actuality chara is the one in control when kris is out of commission so if he were to die he does get a retry but you know if someone takes his soul there’s another soul inside there to take his place

Okay but consider how cool the mechanics for the fight could be from a mechanical standpoint.
Instead of dodging the attacks, because your SOUL is inside Spamton, when your friends attack, you instead have to run INTO the attacks to damage Spamton, and try to intercept Spamton's actions by making him ACT instead of fight by building up TP.
That'd really turn the game over on it's head, and I love that idea! It has similar vibes to the Susie Vs Lancer fight in Chapter 1, except an actual gameplay mechanic!

His boss fight is very hard, but he actually gets tired from dodging easily, if he'd have to dodge 3 peoples hits, he's ded, basically on his fight, there are 21 turns for the both of you, which mean he dodges 21 imes, and 21/3 = 7, he can't even dodge 7 attacks because he would try his special attack of doing nothing, he would be done in 2 turns, if he doesn't try the special attack, 3, you could argue that sans would be stronger in the dark world, just like all lighteners, but even with that he has to have some up to start with,
2. ultra sans would be op, because of the skills sans has, combined with him actually getting high stats
