This is such a beautiful story. Thank you for sharing. It’s crazy how this randomly popped up on my RUclips feed. I too have been attending ashes to beauty since June of 2021. It’s taken me a long time to really understand Gods true love for me. So amazing to see Gods glory in us all.
I grew up in a fantastical family. My mother was a writer, poet, musician and artist. So I was taught art, music, etc. We lived in a cottage by the sea in Carmel, CA. My father designed rocket ships. On the outside, my home life growing up looked magical. But, my mother was bipolar and narcissistic. She refused to get help for her mental condition, which went on and escalated throughout the years.Every morning I learned to gauge her mood, and stay on her "good side" at all costs or I would pay for her mood swings. She recently passed away, and it has brought up that same fearful feeling, like someone is looking over my shoulder all the time. To make it worse, everyone says " oh wow...she was your mother. You must have had a wonderful and amazing childhood!" It's amazing how long we carry wounds, and how at the right time Jesus brings those hidden wounds to the surface so He can heal us completely if we only but come to Him. Thank you for your bravery in sharing your story!💕
Amen it only Truly matters what Gods says. If someone does Not want to forgive you. They are having the problem. It may hurt you that they hurt but you Do Not have to take the evil personal.
It is ok to hate evil but love the person truly.. so glad God removed the bitterness. You can not take it personal when someone attacks you but you may need to limit your interactions and that is somthing i finally am coming to. Forgive but dont go around an angry person. Stay away from angry people unless God says to do somthing. We have to guard our hearts in Christ
The angry persons actions so often isn't things they want to do as a person but rather the enemy working in them!! All glory to God that he's helped me to see that and surrender it all to him!!❤
Isaiah 61 God says He came to heal the broken hearted and set the captives free. We want our family to be well and those relationships to be perfect when we cant have it.. it makes us feel destroyed. We can not allow that. That is satan
The only way to be free is to Worship the Lord. I know the pain of being around bitter people who have not fully surrendered to Christ. So ask God do you need to move even maybe?
Its funny but not funny but when I 1st came to the Lord I said. "I could sleep on a volcano Lord!". God has been showing me how much pushing down trauma instead of taking it to Him causes that volcano feeling.
Hey! So my whole small group for youth group is so interested in what the Amish believe. I know your grew up Amish, from hearing that from your testimony. Could you explain a little about it like what they believe (about God and such)
That's alot to explain... in 1 msg! Although I will say this. They do believe in Jesus they just don't take the Bible as a whole and are very bound by chains of tradition & yet they don't even realize it! All I want to say is pray for them! That they can come to see God's truth and freedom! The amish are very caring ppl living a simple life .. there are many who truly have Jesus but also many who live a very Luke warm life and so we must pray for them!!!!❤
