Welcome to Germany’s true North! Don’t forget your cap!
Whether fresh gusts or gentle breezes - Schleswig-Holstein is a great place to blow your head clear. What else does the land of wind have to offer? Lots of blue and green, for example! Between two coasts that could not be more different, there is a vast inland area with colourful fields, lush meadows, lush forests and glittering lakes and rivers - ideal for hiking, cycling and relaxing!
If you love water, you can choose from numerous water sports, from stand-up paddling and canoeing to kite surfing and sailing, there is something for everyone!
City lovers will also get their money's worth in Schleswig-Holstein's maritime atmosphere, amid picturesque architecture with historical flair! Great for a short break with lots of variety. Experience living culture on small stages with exciting artists, or touch history in unique museums. Stroll along old cobblestones and discover shops beyond the mainstream. Fantastically beautiful, at any time of year.
Schleswig-Holstein offers much more than just flat, wide open spaces - see for yourself!

Bin Bayer aber wohne seit Ewigkeiten in Nordnorwegen. Nach Schleswig Holstein komm ich am liebsten. Da gibt es den Steinzeitpark Dithmarschen. Mit tollem Wald! Geile Campingplätze! Super mit den Kindern.
    Med vennlig hilsen fra Norge
