I am 100% T&P in Texas. I am buying a new construction home and will be exempt from property taxes. I currently have the exemption on my current home, will it automatically transfer to my new home. Or will I have to reapply and get the exemption the following year?

I think you will have to do a transfer, have you reached out to the county.
