I have literally never left a RUclips comment but I just had to when I saw your channel, this video has been incredibly helpful and your artistic talent with your motovlogging and filming is seriously unmatched, across all different cameras. I've spent hours and hours trying to learn how to get the best shots and have seen many videos of people settling for mediocrity, seriously incredible the videos that you put out.
Sup Jay, fellow Moto RUclipsr here, found your channel yesterday and have been binge watching your videos, mad respect, great work, definitely gave me some inspiration/ideas on how to keep improving my content. Cheers!
Thanks a lot for your tips! I treated myself with a Media Mod, Tiffen ND filters and chin mount (which is yet to be delivered). Talking bout camera settings on my GoPro 11, I went with the lower frame rate (24 fps) to capitalize on the blur effect and just as you said there is a massive improvement. Moreover, as I am recording sound through media mod with a dead cat I've noticed a massive jump in the sound quality. Thanks again and keep up with great work! Cheers!

Thanks to this video my clarity is on point!!! I am still having issues with having my audio pop/static from high audio from wind or exhaust. i've been messing with it and can't quite seem to solve the issue. can you give some tips? i have a lav mic plugged into the media mod and tucked behind right cheek pad
Awesome man!! That’s so good to hear. What lavallier do you have exaclty? I have the rode lav go and it works perfectly with the GoPro, sometimes it sounds distorted but hasn’t made any popping sounds :)
Hey man do you have settings for night rides? And is the ND16 still advisable for night shot? I’m not very savvy with camera and settings so I’m just copying your setting in this video but I’m just wondering if it’s still good for night rides. Cheers from Philippines!

didnt know about the nd filter thing and yeah you are right about the stabilization thing. Stabilization off gives a more immerseful experience for motorcycle video, gonna try these changes soon. Thanks
That was fun to watch. Beautiful shots and great info. Thanks for sharing. In the process of setting up for a motovlog. I have the basics down but i have one more BIG issue to handle and it's wind noise. I'm using a lav mic in my helmet and audio is AMAZING until i hit about 100kph (60mph) and then it's clipping and clicking like crazy. I have it protected by foam AND a fluffy thing like yours and tucked right next to my comms mic in the front. It's connected to my gopro 12 black media mod. Any tips on how to reduce wind noise? I'm still experimenting and i'm adding bits of foam to close off any spaces. But your audio seems to be perfect so i'm wondering if you've done any additional padding or just what's on the video? Thanks again and ride safe
Thank you so much man!! What lav mic do you have? I have the rode lavalier go and it doesn’t pop or click on me but can get quite distorted at times. I recently got the Ace Pro and the rode lav doesn’t sound the best paired with this camera so I’m thinking of trying out the new DJI lav mic. Also a big factor that helped my wind noise is the helmet it self. If it’s a noisy helmet the mic is gonna pick up that audio aswell no matter what. So getting a quite helmet to start with helps so much. I recently picked up the SHOEI X-SPR pro as I heard it deals with wind noise pretty well :) hope this helped a bit!
Thenks for the reply @@JayJankulovski I am using the AGPTEK lav mic. I heard a lot of reviews on the higher end mics (rode, purple panda...) and people seemed to say these are more sensitive than this mic so I'm not going to try. Yes you are right about the noisy helmet. I am using the X-Lite 803RS Carbon helmet and it is quite a noisy helmet around the ears but I'm trying to tuck the mic behind the chin net at the front of the helmet (right in front of my mouth) alongside my comms mic. I am experimenting with adding foam padding around the mic at the moment and I am closing up all the visible gaps where air could get to it. Question: are you recording directly mic to gopro like it shows in the vid? or did you change the setup and use an external sound recorder? I have the Zoom H1n and i could try that but i really want to use the zoom's native mics to record pure exhaust sound. Appreciate the help and insight man. Keep it up!
How do you fix the issue with Batterie runtime? My GoPro 7 Black can record just for 38 Minutes on 4K 50FPS… do do you just take 10 batteries with you?😂😂🙏🙏
So can you just plug in the Rode Mic into the AcePro?? In the video it looks like you dont need an adapter?? 0:53 got me a bit confused there, ty in advance!
This is the GoPro not Ace Pro. You need a mic adapter for the Ace Pro and the media mod which has a mic adapter in it for the GoPro if that makes sense.
DJI OSMO Action 4 and the DJI MIC 2 is def the way to go, better battery, no overheating and no cables for the mic. Oh yeah and no need for extra mediamog rubbish.

Thanks man! And use the absolute widest FOV option your camera has. Mine at the time was the hero 10 so widest it could go was superview. The newer GoPro and other action cameras can go wider than that now with Hyperview. And make sure your angle is set so it’s looking high enough and forward

Hi, I recently discovered your channel, I recently bought the insta360 ace pro and I would like to start doing some motovlogging, thanks to all the functions, are those lenses really necessary for the lens? Because they really cost a lot and after doing some tests even against the light it didn't seem like the camera would perform badly without lenses... However, as regards the microphone, in my country the price difference between the 3 recommended by you in your Ace Pro package is practically nothing, which one should I take? If it's the Rode, does it need the anti-wind device or is it fine as is? if so where do I get it? Thank you very much and sorry for the very long message, have a nice day :)
