I’m using 6s plus now. Recently I’ve been into downsizing everything and I really like this phone. During my university studies this phone was my dream phone. Tbh I don’t like when everything is extra, for me this phone works perfectly, even if sometimes some apps are laggy.
I accidentally water damaged my iPhone 13 and had to go back to the 6s plus as a quick and cheap replacement, and I am loving it so far! I like having my headphone jack back as well. I did notice it of course isn’t as fast but I can wait a extra millisecond or 2 longer. I paid $60 for it and it is definitely worth it and I probably will use it longer than I planned. I know I’m sacrificing some upgrades like the better camera and Face ID. But this phone is still pretty decent in my opinion, so far I’m enjoying it.
Well said Keisha this the last phone that had similar characteristics to the iPhone 4. I bought my iPhone 6s Plus in 2019 pre owned still loving it now. Great to hear such a nice review about the iPhone 6s Plus. Keep using safari instead of the apps you will be fine for a good while yet.
I actually like the look of the older iPhones. I’m not picky about the phone looks I care about the functionality and it also holds some nostalgia for me. And I also don’t care about the phone being updated by software updates anymore. Yeah you don’t get all the best features and security patches but the phone will still work just fine and get what you need done
Ive had this iPhone for the past 4 years- Pros: -Camera works well! -Calls work great! -Audio with connected earphones or wireless earphones sound amazing still! But not as loud when playing any sound! - Time to time it works well! Cons -Battery drains quickly than charging! At least like 4 hours 30mins max it can stay on for the day! - it bugs because I’m guessing software, surprisingly doesn’t turn off as it did much before! It becomes laggy and slow from time to time now! Thinks those are my take aways for now! If anything comes up for this phone ill reply back on this comment! And also having 32gb is not enough! Have a great day yall! :)
1:39 lack of gestures is exactly why prefer older iphones likes this, exact same reason why mac trackpads don't need gestures either, having to memorize different gestures is LESS user friendly
I still use my iPhone 6 for a kitchen timer app I have on it, and also to play my stored music to a blue tooth speaker. It still has a few uses for me. But for newer things, and updating..I use my iPad Mini 5th Gen, and my iPhone 13 Mini …256GB. Love it, 😊 (I buy mini iPad and iPhone 13 Mini for one bag, carry on, long term travel and ultra long haul flights.. minimalist packing. No checking bags)
The iPhone 6s Plus may be outdated in design and all aspects and not as premium as the newer models, but it was one of the last durable iPhones which this guy didn’t even mention and all I got was complaints about the home button feeling “weird” and stating the obvious this video gets a dislike from me.
I still remember a kid I used to go over to his house and his mom had the iPhone 6s plus and I thought that was the biggest phone I'd ever saw and when we saw it could shoot in slow motion we abused the slow motion so much for stupid stuff I still love that phone even to today and I still pull it out from time to time just to use it here and there. And I love how it was one of the last iPhones that you could repair every part on it and it wasn't serialized to the device
I have no problem with my iPhone 6s Plus it works great have to wait a little longer for download but feels good no stupid glass back that cracks I use Norton security all apps working don’t have to worry about breaking it and still have 1,000 in the pocket
I still have this phone as a backup phone, it holds so much nostalgia since I had it in 2019 😢 I currently use an iPhone 15 Plus as my current phone but whenever I need to go back to the nostalgic moments I use my 6S Plus.
I have an iPhone 13 mini that I'm giving to a friend since I want a bigger iPhone. I know it probably wasn't the best idea, but I bought a referbished space grey 6s plus 128 gb from ebay referbished for 93$. I personally don't care if the ios is outdated, since I barely use my phone for intensive things anyway. I just love how it has the headphone jack, and the size is perfect for me.
I bought my 6S in 2016 and it has never failed me. This phone is perfect for a person who doesnt need live his life on a phone. Its not a slot machine or takes closeups of space people on the moon. But so what its a good phone. Im looking forward to buying a new 6S when the time comes.
This was my dream phone when it was released. I promised myself I'd get one someday. Sadly, I can't anymore bc its discontinued. My heart still aches i never got my hands on a brand new handset. I know i can get a better phone but i just want to heal my 2015 self.

I bought the rose gold iPhone 6s for myself right out of high school in 2018 needless to say i used it till late 2020 before it finally really gave out on me but i loved it I thought i was that girl with pink phone 🤣
It's the best iPhone they ever made, but my god the battery in that thing sucked arsse sadly - the repairability made up for it though as you could easily replace the battery without it messing up the phone

It's almost 10 years old. It's time for you to upgrade
I used it as my second phone and i love it!!
In mid?
If you just use your iPhone, well, you know, as a Phone, Then it's good to go. If you only intend to talk&text, then the 6s/Plus is fine.
