Apple is really the king when it comes to engineering and durability I found my old iPhone 6 in a old shelf in my basement a month ago and it hadn’t been powered on for years and years I even forgot I even had it somewhere but just so happened I found it while looking for old stuff and things I had there and fast forward I plugged it to a charger and let it charge all night I didn’t had any hope it would even turn ton to be honest cause where it was staying especially during winter that place was cold and as much humidity and wet as it could get but… When I woke up I go check up to see if it has turned on and guess what it’s powered on and works exactly just fine Apple is just on a whole different level man.
@@jasfx7241 it's not really that uncommon though. All three of my families blackberry playbook tablets sat in a bin for the past 4 years, they are almost as old as the original iPad. All of them booted up just fine.

The iPhone 6 was a pain to use in 2019. 🥴🥴🥴 So glad I replaced it with the 11, which I’m still using today. The iPhone 6s was so much better than the 6 as well.
IK FOR A FACT that if iphones still kept 120 hz in base models (iphone 17 coming with 120 hz base) people would complain about how their androids got 240 hz and 360 hz and iphone still with 120 hz

16:14 back then the pro models were the S models. They had the iPhone 6S. The iPhone 6S was the pro. Although the S models weren’t as big of an upgrade to the base model as the pros are to the base models today.
No, S models were just revisions of the existing ones, and they were usually priced like a flagship iPhone, rather than a higher end pro model. The Plus iPhones, however, all the way up until the iPhone Xs Max, were sorta Apples unofficial pro models, usually bearing some more premium features then the smaller sizes.

Funny I have both iPhone 16 Plus and iPhone 6s which I can't let go of because I feel like it's still usable in terms of camera and everything else. it's still rocking the selfie camera not much of a difference with 16 Plus. Although I only use the 6s as backup for my old sim card and when at home I use it to connect to Wifi for YT/Netflix streaming to save some battery life of my 16 Plus LOL
I don’t use my phone much, but to me, the 6 is still usable. All I need my phone to do is call, text, take very basic photos, give me directions, and pretty much everything else can be done in a web browser. If I wanted to use x, for example, it would still work fine in safari or Chrome.
iPhone 6 unfortunately is kidna difficult too use as a daily driver these days, since its stuck on ios 13 I think. iPhone 6s is still mostly usable. Way to get around these app support issues though is too have a modern iOS device laying around, such as an iPad, install newest apps onto it, and then once you have those apps on your Apple ID, you can install the older versions of the apps on the older devices.
You failed to cover the “bend gate” aspect of the 6 and 6 Plus, and the correction of that in the 6S and 6S Plus. On another tack, how about a comparison between the iPhone model that at one time was the model that Apple gave the most software updates to - the 5S - in relation to the 16 Pro?
In the design section, It's not the iPhone 6 camera design that is laughable, its the grotesque 16 chunky bumps that are ridiculous. If they managed to have the current quality and shrink it all back into 1 lens as small as it used to be that would be perfect. They could use the new bigger flash, that's well embedded into the case already. My 2 cents :)
5S is almost the same as a 6 since it maxes at iOS 12 just like the 6 does. The only big differences are that the 6 is bigger and can still make phone calls on carriers that shut down 3G (due to VOLTE which the 5S and earlier don't have).
Very beautiful pictures. I have pictures of the iPhone 6, which are extremely beautiful, but as a video, like the 7 Plus, it is much better. 4k30 is very excellent, even though Apple devices from the 4s to today are 1080/30 from the factory, as a default.
I’m maybe older or something 1985 but I don’t think the technology is that crazy for 10 year I would say the opposite, I saw a video shot with the 6 did not even notice a difference except a guy was insulting the cameras man saying he’s got a 6 still,
nothing beats the classic iphone, i daily my 14 pro max but i do have my 8 plus in product red and my silver 6s plus and both are still lovely phones to hold and first thing that comes to me is the camera size jump

I remember during Covid they had to port the Exposure Notifications to the iPhone 5S and 6. It's actually still there in Settings on those devices.

Just got an iPhone 6 a few days back 😂 everything is fine except for apps. I couldn't install the latest version apps
