Brandon truly had all the qualities of a Hollywood action star. The looks, the charm, the acting and the fact that not only did he do his own action scenes, he choreographed them too! Between this film and The Crow, he was destined to have the doors open wide for him
I try to tell all my friends exactly what you said and tell them to check out Rapid Fire- falls on deaf ears, oh well. A lot of people say he would have risen higher than his father and I agree.
0:37. Perfect scream, Perfect Gun Flip, and Nice Catch. This legendary guy can act.....👏👍 Not bad for a 28-year-old rising star. He does his own motorcycle stunt and crashing into the window, and rolling over. No stunt doubler. Good acting.
Get the desired effect - in good fellas - when Samuel l Jackson is killed - if you watch it in slow mo - the blood splatter comes from off screen. It so fast you don’t see it in the final film.
The "entry techinique" used at 0:15 by Brandon, is the same used by his dad, Bruce, in "Enter the Dragon" ( first fight, against Sammo Hung ), when Lee uses this same "entry technique", using the leg to cheat the opponent and after that, hitting his face with a punch. If you are fast and have long arms, its a good entry technique.
In 1992, I remember watching this when I was 11. Thank you for the memory, Brandon Lee! R.I.P to Brandon Lee and Tony Longo (the man in the car points the gun 1:48.
Man, I can't help, but to imagine if Brandon Lee and Bruce Lee still alive, they would take over the world as they already did. Would've made lots of kick ass movies like this. Imagine if we get "Simon Says" with Brandon Lee before it was turned into a 3rd Die Hard movie. And by the way, Christopher Young's score here is a lot of influenced by James Honer's score from "Another 48 Hrs."
I wish the scene was extended to show the cinematic mistake...the blood spot is on his right side of his mouth until he slides his bike & gets caught by the cops...then its on his left side of his mouth
They don't make very good action movie anymore. The stunt men who took the part of this movie. They look back. They went "WOW". There's no cheesy explosion or shoot barrel. This is masterpiece and art. When you watch NETFLIX today. it's garbage. Except Joker Heath ledger

So sad he was taken from us a million times too soon. He really did have so much potential. R.I.P. Brandon Lee.
He would’ve been even bigger than Bruce. He could play serious dramatic roles too he truly had it all

Brandon Lee was an amazing and wonderful actor & also a phenomenal martial artist. Rest peacefully.
That chinese guy with the machine gun was taking out everyone

That staircase kick powerful scene
Brandon Lee, Wesley Snipes, Jean-Claude Van Damme, and Steven Seagal films were the best ass kicking action films.
1:07 That blood squib was detonated from the wall, lol

I like the punching sound effects.
That's level 10 skills
Great movie!! R.I.P. Brandon Lee 😢
Brandon Lee best film in my opinion.
Yes ... I thought RAPID FIRE was way better then THE CROW - But I did Enjoy, THE CROW though :)
Not better than The Crow. Not even close.
Agreed. I love The Crow but Rapid Fire is like the quintessential 90s action flick
