Tons of different ways to hunt turkey, however, Dave Owens utmost respect for the wild turkey bleeds from every video. It's something to strive for.

I have the upmost respect for Dave. I have hunted my entire life, but didn’t Turkey hunt very much. I really appreciate his channel, I have learned a ton from him.
I really admire the pure way he hunts. I’m so fired up for Spring Gobbler!
I’ve only killed two gobblers so far, I have called in a few others trying to get my son a shot. I’m glad I’m older as maturity has helped me understand conservation better.
I passed on two different jakes last spring. I didn’t realize those birds were jakes as all I knew is that they were turkeys. What I did know if those jakes were bucks I would have passed, so I figured the same rules should apply for turkeys. 20 years ago it would have been a bad day for those birds!
Listening to him speak about getting through that “kill period “, ditching the decoys, really resonated with me.
Great advice, solid content, great interview guys!

Dave reminds me of my dad with how he is trying to help a situation without any benefit , just doing it because he thinks it’s right. How do I join/help out with some of the stuff he mentioned and y’all mentioned. My father used to be the president of north west Louisiana Nwtf chapter when I was younger And I think now more than ever we need to use every tool we have to help the population. I wanna be more pro active
